The room we stayed in was just perfect with amazing views, could not have wished for better. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay, wonderful the cullen skink was the best one we have ever had and the rest of the meal was just as good. The breakfast was just as enjoyable with a great choice to choose from. Would definitely recommend having a meal in the hotel not just because it was so good but the views from the restaurant were amazing.

Everything exceeded our expectations will be returning to the cullen bay hotel had a wonderful time. We could not fault anything, room, food, service, staff everything was of a very high standard.

I like the view that the hotel has, the grounds are well kept as well. My room was clean and it came with a bathroom with a tub which is a plus for me. Breakfast was nice and the receptionist was nice as well.

The overall value for money I'd say for me it wasn't there. For this price usually you can book a hotel with swimming facilities and i wouldn't get a single bed room but a double for single occupancy. The room itself was very small with a view to the backyard, which was ok. Not a bad place, I just i felt it was overpriced.

Probably the best view from my room window that I have ever had. Breakfast and meals superb. Friendly and efficient staff at all levels. Cleanliness and service great. The Cullen Bay hotel more than lived up to my expectations. I hope to return.

Hard to find a fault. Even the weather was great.

View is exceptional, facing out on to Cullen Bay and the Moray Firth coast. Breakfasts were excellent both in taste and portion size. Room was spacious, comfy and clean with a generously sized en-suite.

Generally has a feeling of being a large guest house rather than a hotel. Could hear other residents quite clearly in the corridor, but since the place is quiet it generally was not a significant concern.

Staff were so lovely. Couldn’t do enough. Location was perfect for what we needed. Food was really nice and plenty of options on the menu. Lovely sea view. Was grand for one night. Will definitely return and would recommend.

Lack of plugs next to beds. Bed really quite soft but fine for one night (and maybe that’s just personal preference.

We had an excellent stay at this lovely seaside hotel with the most beautiful view looking out over Cullen Bay. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming, and particularly accommodating with our golden retriever. Very dog friendly, prefect location, delicious hotel food (including vegan options). A wonderful stay and would love to visit again!

We had a comfortable twin room with a lovely sea view. The staff were very friendly and gave us information about the area. The large breakfast was served in a room overlooking the bay. And we also ate in the dining room in the evenings.

The en suite shower room was maybe a bit of a tight fit!

The room is lovely, clean, comfy and spacious. It has a beautiful bay view. Could see the coast from Portknockie to Cullen town. Wonderful walking path from the hotel through the bridge to the town. Then we walked back on the beach.

It would be great to have a bigger portion of breakfast.

good, could provide more continental choice for those visitors from overseas, like croissants, pain au raisin, more fruit. Other choices though were very good. View was great of sea. Car park exit on a dangerous corner for foreign drivers with a hire car

Quilt on bed seemed less cotton, more synthetic, so was hot, even n a hot night,

My wife and I certainly enjoyed our stay and especially in room 8. This room overlooked the golf course and the Moray Firth . The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Our evening meal and breakfast was to a high standard. We would certainly highly recommend this hotel to others. A most enjoyable stay and we will return again.
