House is located in a very pretty corner of Moleygrove and boasts very good views and a delightful garden. Bed was comfy and the room spacious. We were made to feel very welcome. Its all fairly new so no real complaints about the property or pretty much anything... except see below. Breakfast was great and the real coffee a welcome surprise.

Rooms not serviced daily - I understand this is on the website for the house but a four day stay I think this warrants some fresh bed linen. Pillows were the hardest I have ever encountered - really not pleasant at all. Lastly this area is very isolated and not helped by a road closure. It might only be 6 miles to Cardigan but they are slow and difficult miles. Part of its appeal at times less so at others.

The property itself is amazing and can tell that it’s very well looked after and a lot of love has been put into it! The views were amazing too as we could see out into cardigan bay, overlooking Moylegrove village itself, and had a grand view of the property’s garden and orchard. The location is very out of the way, but not too far from any shops when you need to pop your one which is very ideal. Our room was great as it had plenty of space to move around and especially loved the style of the en-suite! Breakfast was amazing all round too with local produce and no fuss, couldn’t fault it!

Water pressure in the shower could be looked at but nothing major. Could do with a few more plug sockets dotted around the room as we had to keep swapping out appliances behind the desk which was a little awkward to get to. Brighter lighting for main light as the room is quite dark.

Everything- staff, breakfast, rooms, beds, grounds. There was absolutely nothing that could be improved upon.

Our stay at The Old Vicarage was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the rolling hills near the coast, this beautifully restored property is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, and the attention to detail throughout our visit was outstanding. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a refined home away from home, The Old Vicarage is an absolute gem. We can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning!

The Old Vicarage is very welcoming, very comfortable & very relaxing! What Meg & Jaap have created here is really exceptional, we loved every minute of our stay & exploring this beautiful part of Wales.

Have nothing to complain about…it was wonderful.

It was so welcoming and the bed was really comfortable , it had a warm feel all around and the breakfast was amazing , we took the dog and it was so easy going and she could go anywhere on the property which I found other so called dog friendly places don’t .

Absolutely fantastic, b&b. The lodge is spotless, tastefully decorated, accompanied with a lovely host. The real log fire was roaring when we arrived. We decided to sit in the lounge, and the friendly cat cuddled up. We felt completely relaxed, helped by the surroundings. The room was in keeping and again beautiful. The bed was comfortable and large. En suite with an immaculate shower. We both loved our stay and will definitely return in the better months. Hampers and drinks are provided, bookable in advance, which we plan on doing next. No doubt this will be amazing. The breakfast was the best porridge I have had in my life! The poached plums with greek yoghur, perfection. The one bad review I viewed is utter nonsense.

The hosts, Japp and Meg, are lovely. Very peaceful location. The house is amazing and very clean.. Large bedroom with ensuite and provisions for hot cuppa and toiletries. I loved looking at the cows while having my morning and afternoon coffee. There is ample parking space. Breakfast is superb, they have gluten free and vegetarian selection. I enjoyed both the mountain and coastal hikes/walks. Ceibr bay is approximately 20 minutes walk. My stay was worth the long drive (5-6H) and every penny. I would love to visit again.

Incredibly beautiful house—restored with the utmost care and tasteful style. The room is spacious, all facilities updated and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Unforgettable views all around the property, nestled in a picturesque village. The hosts are helpful, charming and generous. Plus there are two wonderful dogs! Breakfast is delicious and very large portions. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Shower water pressure is quite weak, but it’s not a deal breaker

Beautiful peaceful location. My room had a sea view in the distance which I could see from the window while lying in bed. Near to some very lovely coast line, even though I was only staying for work I managed to get down to the beach at Poppit Sands to have my fish and chips for dinner. Breakfast was lovely, a well poached egg and good ingredients.

Bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets, although the double bed was made of 2 mattresses pushed together from when the room is set up in twin configuration. Prefer a double mattress when booking a double bed. No other issues, this is a minor point.
