great location and spotlessly clean. friendly welcome.

no drinking facilities in the room.. no tea, coffee or even water. ( which meant my husband could even take his medication until we got to a garage.) looked like they had a coffee machine etc by reception, obviously wasn't used as no cup or anything around it. parking is £15 which I feel was extreme..

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Cambridge train station (so that there are plenty of grocery stores, cafes, shops, and restaurants around) and about 15–20 minutes from the city center. The room was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds, two pillows per person (a rare find in many hotels), and fresh bedsheets and towels. There's a coffee machine on the ground floor, so you can enjoy a tasty espresso even in the early morning (perfect for me at dawn) before the nearby coffee shops open. I had a minor issue in my bathroom and informed the owner via text; she responded immediately and helped resolve it. She’s a lovely person who goes out of her way to ensure her guests have a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

The Wifi connection was a problem—I had to rely on my own data most of the time. Also, the corridor lighting was too bright, and there was no way to turn it off, so the light leaking through the door at night was a bit uncomfortable

The room was clean, the bed was cosy and comfy with a nice selection of pillows (4) they were all nice a fluffy. The duvet kept me warm. The shower was nice and powerful and the temperature was easy to set. Loved that there were 3 mirrors including a full length mirror in the room. Nice touch having a coffee machine in reception. Unfortunately I couldn't take advantage of it as I was avoiding caffeine.

Mattress had a dip in it it probably needs more regular turning. The bedside lamps were a bit too bright for me they were only slightly dimmer than the main light. All the stairs as my room was at the top of the guest house.

The location was great. My room was impeccably clean but was very small.

I did think the lady who met me on arrival was a little abrupt. There was no explanation about breakfast arrangements if I wanted to use that facility.

This is honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed in terms of quality and value of accommodation! - Everything was easy about the whole booking process, and checking in and out. - My room was serviced each day. - It was beautifully clean! - There were a few little extra personal touches which I liked. - The bed was very comfy. - The location was close to amenities, and within easy walking distance to the centre (provided you're not mobility impaired) - Little Petra nearby is also a lovely restaurant! I HIGHLY recommend booking here.

Genuinely it was flawless.

Everything in the guest house is done so smoothly that you do not notice anything and just feel comfortable and have a great time. I arrived at the guest house a couple of hours earlier, so expected to encounter someone from the staff. The staff I met afterwards was very friendly:). However, I didn't, so you don't have to be surprised if you don't too. I really liked my extra-small room for one. The interior is very cozy and tasteful. I had everything I needed in this little room, just as described when I first booked it. I took a very long journey that day and walked more than 20 km. My tiny cozy room and the bed have saved me and given me a wonderful night of sleep. Notice, you only have a shower in your room, the toilet is upstairs, but it was not an issue for me. All in all, if you hesitate, don't;). The accommodation and comfort are worth the price. Thanks once again for the beautiful stay, I will definitely recommend it!

An unpretentious but cozy guesthouse with extremely friendly staff. Communications before checking in were clear and welcoming. The room and especially the toilet/shower were somewhat tight for my 1.87m frame, but I knew that beforehand and it was not a big deal. Some of the facilities in the room could do with an upgrade, but on the whole it was a pleasant enough stay, and everything was cleaned and tidied every day. All in all an excellent option for a short stay!

Note that the guesthouse is very close to the railway station, but outside of the old city center and most of the museums and colleges. It is a brisk 20 to 30 minute walk, or you can take a bus from the rail station

Bed was v comfortable . Room was quiet and clean . Bathroom was clean and the shower was good . Guest house was very near to the railway station so very convenient if travelling by train.

Did not like the contactless check in , and was unable to open the door three times using the code provided . Luckily there was a guest sitting inside the hallway , and she came out and heped me to use the code. it seemed there was something i should have done before pressing the numbers. It would have been helpful if the exact instructions on using the contactless check in had been sent to me before my arrival.

The guesthouse was really great. Close to the train station and the city centre. The single room was bigger than I expected and very clean. It was furnished very nicely and tea/coffee/water was provided. Bathroom was small but has everything you need, good, powerful shower too. I slept well even though it is on the main road so there is some noise but I always wear ear plugs so no problem there. The price was very good, much cheaper than many places nearby including the YHA.

I didn't realise that I needed to touch a button on the entrance pad before it lit up but once it did, I had no problem getting in - remember to add the # after the 5 digit code.

Great location, easy walk to King's Cross train station. Room has very nice character and original features, huge window. Beds very comfortable. We had the 2 twin beds room. Larger people may find the private bathroom to be small but it served us well, clean and bright, up-to-date. Nice set up in room to make your own morning tea with provided bottle of water. Found out later that I could have dropped off my luggage after 11AM before check-in time.

Not much that I didn't like but I wished there had been a brighter light option to turn on in the bedroom area after dark. I don't see well in dim light.
