The place was like a Phoenix that’s risen from the ashes, very Clean and tidy, staff are absolutely amazing and very attentive nothing is any bother , central to Blackpool tower and beach, hotel was amazing, lots of comfortable seating areas in front of windows and outside, nice and quiet, our bedroom was beautiful looked like it was brand-new well equipped with everything you need even a hairdryer in the draw , the tea &coffee facility was nice and tidy with a draw underneath with a good selection of tea coffee and biscuits, the en suite was brilliant lots of hot water shower looked new with a rain forest shower head the water pressure never dropped, we went half board and the food was fantastic and plenty of choices couldn’t ask for any more, the nighttime entertainment was brilliant wish we never lived so far away from Southampton. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to see you again

I booked this hotel for my partners 50th birthday as a surprise. The communication was excellent before our stay to ensure all my requests were met. There was a birthday card wrote out from all the staff and chocolates which was a surprise for my partner, which i thought was lovely as so did he. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. Great location and not far from the train station, beach and the Tower. It was a really enjoyable stay.

Storm Agnes joined us for our little break but can't fault the hotel.

We loved the atmosphere 😍 the friendly team 👏 the delicious breakfast everything available and hot 😋 the closeness to our venue just a short walk 🚶‍♀️ although we didn't use it they have exquisite entertainment on top class 👍if we were to come for a show again we would use this hotel definitely 🙂but if we come to Blackpool for a visit unfortunately they don't allow dogs we would have to pick a dog friendly hotel cos we love our pooch sorry🥰 Thank you Hotel Ruskin team for a lovely time Kim & Mike xx

The hotel and staff was lovely. It was clean and our room was a good size. Even had an air conditioning unit in it. The bar food was nice and plenty of it but choice would be a little limited if you were staying for a while. There was also a very large dining room serving breakfast and dinner on a time slotted service. The thing I was happiest about buying was the secure parking. Well worth the money.

The biggest bugbear was the lift. It was a very large hotel which was well occupied and there was a very large amount of elderly or infirm guests (myself included) who couldn't use the stairs but there was only one lift and maximum capacity was 8 people, although to be honest you wouldn't want more than 6 people at a time. This resulted in very long waiting times, especially at meal times, it even resulted in a few people being late for their meal time slot and çheck out day was absolute chaos.

the room and hotel excellent and the breakfast 10 the location 10 everything was excellent the staff excellent always there when you need help with anything and there is a porter service thanks to the staff all work really hard working staff

I have stayed at the Ruskin several times and simply cannot fault it. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, food is excellent and my father (who usually travels with me) LOVES Rolys bar. The location is spot on too.

Rooms are excellent, only thing I think they could benefit from is a mini fridge. Also, prices are a tad expensive for Blackpool, but I suppose you get what you pay for 😀

My Mum and I really enjoyed the breakfast and location. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to assist us.

While the room was delightful and exceeded expectations, it was regrettably situated next to the elevator, resulting in noise disturbances throughout the night along with the beeping of the closing door. I would like to proposed that this be silenced during the night; when you are in the lift, you are already aware that you have selected a floor and do not require an audible confirmation. In addition, the spa was out of action which was a shame as it would have been nice to use following a day out seeing the sights.

Loved the entertainment , 3 acts on fri 2 were excellent 3rd not so good compere was excellent loved her On Saturday loved all 3 acts found the compere not so fun Loved the staff went out of there way to help you all polite welcoming but always professional

Room was small but had everything you needed in it I found it expensive, for size of room, we choose not to add food ( we are quiet fussy eaters )felt it was expensive when booking so decided to look locally and could of paid on arrival if little was available evening meal is a choice of 3 starters 3 main and 3 desserts would of been more tempted to eat there if menu was split so you didnt have to pay all 3 choices as hubby doesnt life desserts and i cant eat desserts and perhaps a bigger choice of mains but plenty of places locally to eat and good quality inc you can eat at the ruskin in the bar food there looked very nice No on site parking we parked in near by multi story (£20 for 48 hrs) all inclusive drink available but only if your all inclusive with food

Loved the staff, location, lounges and entertainment. The staff were brilliant. Lots of rooms/ lounges to sit in and all very comfortable and lovely décor. Two dining rooms and lovely 4 course meals on an evening at a time to suit you . Also have a few bars. Nothing is any trouble for staff, so lovely and helpful The room facilities could be a bit better if I'm going to be picky, if you don't mention it, they won't know. I would of mentioned it to them, if they had asked when I dropped the key off.

The picky bits.......room water pressure really poor. The shower/ sink was a trickle, very hard to get a shower trying to get wet ☺️ I did see that the toilet had one of those pressure things on the back , so looks like they have problems with the water pressure on this floor. Would of been better to have a light under Tele for the tea making, had to put big light on 🤪 The fire door was a bit of concern ( it had a large gap down the opening side, during the night I thought is was open ( the outside light shone in ) and showed it even more.
