The Dutchman hotel is located at the perfect location for a black pool visit. The host/receptionist Julie goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible stay. Highly recommended!

Fabulous place. Loved the bar area downstairs. Staff were amazing, Julie was an exceptional host. The bed was comfy. The array of breakfast food was amazing, and the cooked breakfast was fresh and tasty.
Booked through Booking.com, so we lost out on breakfast and had to pay extra, although the breakfast was worth the £7.50 charge. The pillows were very thin, I have neck issues, so I need to be raised, but even with 2, it wasn't very comfy due to the thinness of them. Had to take towels with us as it doesn't state on the site that towels are provided. They also provide a hairdryer. These could be added to amenities as it's less luggage for customers to bring. We had a sea view room, but it wasnt really worth the extra payment as it was quite a small room with not much room to manoeuvre in. I would pay for a budget room which is much larger. Please don't use this as a reason not to stay. We would gladly stay again.

Great location and was made to feel very welcome by Julie and her staff. Entertainment was good even though hotel wasn't full due to the time of year. Julie makes sure you are well looked after and genuinely interested in her guests. Breakfast was lovely and plenty choice. Julie contacted us during our drive down from Glasgow to advise of of parking. A lovely wee touch. This will be my choice of hotel from now on whenever visiting Blackpool. Everyone really friendly 😍
Nothing to not like.

Julie is very helpful and polite. The hotel is spotless and bed very comfy. Superb choice for breakfast and cooked to perfection. Been three times now and never disappoints. Will be going again shortly.
Can't think of anything I didn't like really. If I had to say anything to improve it, it would be to update certain things. A few bits outdated.

The hotel is in a good location with a car park and close to all attractions Blackpool has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful as also were their other guests who we met
It would have been nice on arrival to have been informed our booking platform which we used did not include breakfast but that we could pay the hotel separately. The shower wasn't great 🙁

The room was lovely but the shower room was too small. We did not have breakfast so cannot rate it. We had clean towels every day and the bin was emptied when neccessary. The front outside seating area was not clean. The bin was knocked over every day and I personally picked it up but it looked a terrible sight.
The front seating area.

Excellent staff really informative and accommodating, felt very welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. Everyone gets a door key so you can come and go as you please. They allow you to order in so if you want a takeaway and chill after a day out waking then you can sit and eat in the dining room with plates and cutlery provided.
Rooms are basic a little dated but not a dislike, if staying for a night or two they have everything you need a comfy bed and a shower.

Property was very secure doors were locked at all times, was very clean & tidy, A nice sized bar, perfect location for us! The owner was lovely & very helpful. We mentioned that it was our anniversary & she put a banner on our door and offered us free breakfast! Will definitely be staying again on our next trip
The only thing I would suggest in changing is adding some ashtrays to the outside seating area.

Walked past this hotel many times.. Fell on a bargain price wise so gave it a whirl. Well worth it. From the moment we pulled up we were welcomed, there is a small car park behind which was full so after unloading our bags the man took my husband to their other car park, 2 minutes walk and it is right opposite Home bargains and the tram workshop, so safe. We stayed in room 7 2nd floor, no lift but didn't plan on going up and down, room was airy, light and spacious for the 2 of us. Bed was 1 of the comfiest we've had. Plenty of draws for stuff to go in. Hairdryer, toiletries and a fan which came in handy with the gorgeous weather we had. The ladies there came daily to see if we needed new towels or more tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was served between half 8 and 10, we were given a table by the window which was nice. Help yourselves. Selection of at least 3 juices, milk, water and squash. Yoghurts, apples and oranges. At least 6 cereals and porridge. Toast machine with white and brown bread, cooked toast nicely brown. Selection of 3 jams, butter on table. Hot buffet had fried eggs, bacon, fried bread, beans, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, sausages and tomato. Sachets of sauces. Selection of teas and coffee etc Hot food was topped up regularly and was always nice and warm, set us up nicely for the day. They did have a bar which was open but we never actually used it, but plenty of tables and chairs and some settees. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.
I couldn't really fault anything. We had no issues.
