Staff in reception , VERY HELPFULL AND EXPLAIN ALL ( RULES , car reg. And keys back etc , really good customer service, also in the morning, friendly staff ( when I ask for invoice etc) lady was very friendly . Also a member of staff help.me to put the WiFi on my phone , thank you .

A bit noise ( by the window) and I think radiator making noise ( not much ) but it was difficult to not listening the noise ! ... So took me longer to sleep ....but I was ok ! I went to the put and ask for a pint ( staff was friendly ) but the type of beer was a bit off ? ...may be because it's not seeling much ..not sure , but I drink in other places and yours was ( darker and a bit off ) ...but I was tired so didn't make any issues ....

Great location, easy to get too, very reliable, friendly and helpful team always made to feel welcome, always love my stay here, hence I keep coming back on my monthly visits to see my family

So since my last stay cooked breakfast was made to order and was always lovely cooked, nice and hot. But unfortunately your hot breakfast system has now changed ( all under hot plates gantry ) and it wasn’t the best, hash browns really soft/ soggy feel, bacon very hard, beans, mushrooms, fresh toms and sausages only just warm.

The location was v quiet and the site felt spacious and with nice seating area outside. Really easy parking, easy to find, and clean and spacious rooms. Nice to be able to open windows for extra ventilation. Very convenient restaurant and bar, really nice searing areas downstairs. Felt v comfortable and easy all round. Had a great stay, particularly after having spent the night before at a "high end" hotel with no air con and no way of opening windows. We were given a room on the ground floor to help accommodate my elderly Mum.

As somebody wrote on here last year the hotel has a '1970s shabby chic' vibe going for it, although it has recently been refurbished. Now this may not SOUND very appealing! But perhaps you could describe it as having an unusual retro charm, as well as being very quiet, and (although close to the A34 & M6) is itself located in a quiet - seemingly retired/pensioner dominated - bourgeois neighbourhood. PS I've actually been here since 1 October 2021, through multiple consecutive reservations.

Corridor to mid-floor rooms is a little bit narrow.

Very clean and tidy, team that work there are very friendly and always at hand if you need them, brilliant location for both B’ham city, West Brom and Walsall, comfortable rooms very spacious everything you need in a room, I asked for a travel cot for my 3month old and it was set up in the room upon my arrival, breakfast is very good cold options on top of a full English breakfast ( which is of high quality). This is my second time staying here in 6months I will be using this hotel every month for my visits to B’ham to see my family

- All went well there was a little noise as a wedding was going on, so noise is expected - Room- I did send an email to ask if you had any rooms on the ground floor which meant no stairs as I have MS i find it difficult to go up/down stairs.. I did not receive a response so presumed all was ok - Breakfast - could of had a bit more variety considering i paid for a superior room

It would of been nice to have a vending machine for hot drinks instead of having to ask the lady or gentleman for assistance. There were no small bread rolls or pastries

Breakfast was excellent service great. The hotel was spacious and well located with plenty of parking.

A lift down to rooms on lower ground especially with suitcase and bags would help. A check on some fittings in the bathroom ie handle on bath on one side missing. The sealant around the bath needed replacing. Noise proofing of rooms - first two days quiet but weekend was noisy at times in bedrooms. Sockets beside bed would be handy. and access to iron/board in each room.

I liked the location as we were going to an event in West Bromwich and this hotel was only 11 minutes away. Also great value for money especially in the Black Friday deal would definitely stay here again so will be checking out the deals when they come up. Staff was very helpful we had an issue in the room and it was dealt with straight away.

Just had a little issue with the water pressure for the shower but otherwise all was well.

Receptionist provided warm welcome. The hotel has character, a rare quality in this age of ubiquitous hotel chains. Handy for shops & local amenities. Close to Sandwell Country ZpImpressed by facilities given size of room-comfortable single bed, hairdryer housed on desk, ample number of sockets. Curtains very good at blocking out lGood cupboard space & sturdy desk with drawers.Nice touch open drawer where kettle, tea & drinks placed. Loved the bathroom with its large mirror, sufficient surface, stylish mini sink, bath with safety handles & mat.

Misleading signage on main road lead to parking outside wrong establishment! Too many stairs Can’t remember if there was a feature length mirror on back of main door. Would be handy to have one there, if not. Poor shower water pressure. Noisy bathroom dehumidifier. Desk space taken up by Tv perhaps concertina/accordion style wall brackets would have been better.

When we arrived we were put in a basement room which was tired, we were supposed to have a continental breakfast in the morning delivered to our room but this never came. We went away for a week and stayed another night which was much better the nice lady on reception gave us a suite which was lovely and a discount because we never had breakfast the week before so cannot fault the return visit
