It was a beautiful property, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast and the most lovely owners

No dislikes it was great just be prepared it’s a 20 minute drive from the centre but the local taxi man is brilliant

Everything about the property was amazing, very clean and tidy, nothing needing repaired. The host was excellent. I liked the touch of having breakfast delivered in a basket. I have stayed in many places and this place was by far my favourite. If I ever return to Belfast this will be my place of choice to stay.

The only thing I would have done differently is to stay an extra couple of days to see more of the beautiful country. With the space and attention to detail, the cost of the accommodation was a bit low, so yeah great value for money.

No better term than WOW, for Millbrae Lodge. This at one time was an 1800's milking parlor that the owner, who was a contractor, has totally renovated into a top-notch B&B. Colum, who is the owner, was most hospitable, even delivering your daily breakfast, which you choose, and adding valuable information on the area. The courtyard is filled with flowers, a small table, for each room, for outside breakfast weather permitting. The inside of our room was very comfortable with amenities only equal to a five-star hotel. If you're staying in Belfast and need a place to stay relatively close to the airport this definitely is the place to stay at a very reasonable price. If we were to travel again to Belfast, we would look nowhere else!

Faultless, honestly what a gem in the most incredible old stone building. Colum was so friendly and gave us a very warm Irish welcome. Gluten free alternatives for breakfast were easily arranged and delivered in a gorgeous wicker basket which is such a lovely touch. The room was spacious, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bedding and towels had a lovely fresh scent. The bed and pillows were the comfiest we have ever slept on! Hairdrier in the room, iron and ironing board provided without having to even ask as Colum knew we had a wedding to attend. We rented a car and easily popped between the accommodation, Belfast and Lisburn within less than half an hour. Well located for the city and also Giants Causeway, a beautiful hours drive up North. Free parking and this genuinely felt like a luxury countryside stay. Thank you so very much for a stay in your little slice of heaven! Louise and Josh x

Collum was truly an excellent host, telling us where to eat, what to visit(and a great route to travel), lovely conversation and the grounds were so beautiful with the perfect room. Loved the kitchen and a great easy breakfast was delivered in an adorable basket each morning. Elaine was prompt and friendly to message with before the trip as well to let her know when we would make it in. We would be back in a heartbeat and would love to take our 4 kids with us next time! Exceptionally clean and well kept, along with a great road to take walks after dinner or exploring. Off the beaten path but that is why we chose, such lovely scenery to drive through.

Absolutely beautiful property and lodging! Set on a beautiful property that still has some original buildings from the 1700s. Our room was pristine, clean and absolutely beautiful! Colum and Elaine we fabulous hosts. Colum was very helpful with giving recommendations for the routes we took for the must see locations we went to. Breakfast was wonderful, and brought in adorable picnic baskets each morning. We were able to visit Carrick a Rede rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges, Dunluce castle, some abbey Ruins and Giant’s Causeway. We took the coastal route that Colum. recommended and it was amazing.

Nothing, everything was wonderful!

My husband and I had the most relaxing, peaceful stay at Millbrae Lodge. The surroundings around the lodge were just beautiful as well and the whole area as you drove up. Colum and Elaine were just fantastic. Anything that we needed to know before and during our stay was given to us through messages from Elaine before our stay and a meet and greet from Colum when we arrived. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially how it was presented to us. All those little touches also made our stay wonderful. Highly recommend Millbrae Lodges

Wow, wow, wow! Millbrae Lodges is absolutely stunning, and we have already said we want to return here again. This was a getaway for my partners birthday and on arrival we had a bottle of wine in the room for us which was an unexpected treat. Colum is an outstanding host, immediately we felt welcome and comfortable. The property is so beautiful and the rooms have everything you could need and more. The area is so peaceful which is exactly what we wanted on this trip. Breakfast was delivered in a gorgeous hamper every morning with such a variety of food to suit everyone. Colum gave us some great recommendations for local bars/food and things to see/do in belfast. If you have the chance, go to Crumlin and eat at the fiddlers inn, the food was delicious. There's not enough words to explain how much we loved our stay here, if you get the chance, I would 1000000% recommend anyone to stay here! Also the local taxi driver they use is so lovely, definitely would say use him for journeys. Thank you for everything Colum and Elaine, we will be back again!

There's not a single thing we didn't like.

This was the perfect getaway for a few day's, and have already recommended it to family and friends. Colum and Elaine were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully set out cottages, in a picturesque courtyard. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of space for all your clothes, luggage etc, and a bathroom with a large shower. Breakfast is Brought to you everyday so there is no need to hurry yourselves in the morning. Ideally situated for a trip into Belfast City centre which in our opinion is a must. Likewise Giants Causeway, Bushmills distillery are also in easy distance. Can't praise Millbrae Lodges enough. Thank you Colum and Elaine for your wonderful hospitality, would definitely return. They were very helpful lovely location very country side which is what we was looking for not far from the city recommended a lovely taxi man who was lovely and helpful! The hosts where very lovely and helpful we got lost with a taxi man from the airport but colum was more than helpful when we found the place gave us a lift to the local village and gave us taxi driver number we got back and had a lovely stroll of the area so beautiful! The breakfast was incredible very tasty and well presented to your doorstep for when you need it in the morning ! Look forward to going back in May already booked !
