The breakfasts each morning had great variety. The staff were polite and always putting fresh food out. The facilities themselves were great. We found ourselves using the swimming pool, park, soft play and the gym which was great having this included in your stay. The beds were very comfortable and good sized for the 3 of us and our dog. The grounds are great for dogs to run and play also!
I had raised an issue about the wardrobe doors being cracked and having a 3 year old isn’t ideal. The first night our room was cool so we were going to pop the panel radiator on but it was loose so didn’t bother as was more a hazard when off the wall. We did mention this to reception staff but he couldn’t understand what we were trying to say so we just left it and didn’t take it further. The lift was also getting work done so it was out of order. I’ve a 9 year old dog and he struggled up 4 flights of stairs every day and night so that also wasnt ideal 😟. Understandable that these things do need to be done.

The location is very close to the centre. Clean and functional rooms and served daily. Breakfast supplied plenty of Choice. The soft play was great for our little ones as was the outdoor playground. We really enjoyed the stay and would return. Great walks near by, safe location.
The fish bar, team working there obviously had better things to do. Counting knife and forks, on mobiles while people stood at bar. Only 5 of us in at the time too. Food over salted, came with free hair! Staff friendly to a point, but good at what they do. Companies can’t operate without staff so perhaps it’s an upper management issue.

Very friendly and helpful staff . Good location and good breakfast . Over good place to stay and may do well with renovation specially corridor carpets , room furniture and bath as hardly any place hang used towel to get them dry and use again . We has ask for new towel every , not environmentally friendly but did hadn’t had choice.
Long waiting at the time of check in as there was only 1 person and as late checking , 4PM , by that must of guest are there and people might waiting for an hour for check in. So either to increase check in desks or start early check in , 3pm like most of the hotels .

Beautiful location bit tricky trying to work out which part we were staying in but after asking a couple of meme ears of staff we were finally directed to correct building x good facillities and plenty to do. Central to town also.
The room was very cold on arrival - the building itself was very cold during the whole stay. Room looking quite dated. Very hard feather pillows - had to ask for softer foam pillows. Corridor very noisy with doors banging at night. On the first morning there wasn’t enough hot food on the hot food warmer for the amount of people so had to make do with toast/ cereal.

Size of the room, bathroom, hot water, really comfy mattress. Pool and steam rooms. Efficient Check in and check out. Parking.
Constant Wind Noise from window, seals need attention.. Constant noise from other guests passing through fire door outside our room. Pillows too soft. Had to wait for some items of hot breakfast to be replenished, no salt in cellars both mornings. No eveni ng entertainment May Day weekend. Fish Bar advertising specials which were not available and not having any change in the till.

We had an overnight stay for a short family trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely (however one of the cupboards sliding doors was broken). The pool was great, and kids had a blast (water could have been warmer though). Lots to do and see, we couldn’t manage it all as it was a short stay. For example, lots of kids activities were on and Easter based things as well. Only big downside was the lift wasn’t working, with two kids and their luggage it was hard, and I also had a foot injury so struggled.

Clean and comfortable rooms! The resort is surrounded by nature on a side and only 5 minutes walking from all the shops and restaurant in Aviemore. Pool (that makes waves) is perfect for kids of any age. Huge soft play area inside and large space for woodend play area outside. Steam room and sauna good.
Kids slept in sofa beds and they said mattress weren’t comfy. Considering the high price for the room maybe some improvement could be done. The shopping centre is closed on Sunday in a touristic village like Aviemore. There are too many things to do in this resort but impossible to enjoy it with check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. And is not very affordable to pay 2 family rooms for more than one day. An earlier check in would let family stay a bit longer in the swimming centre or around the restaurants and lounge enjoy properly the stay.

I liked the hotel location and the service, everything I needed was nearby, even the train station. breakfast was delicious. the staff was friendly, the snowy atmosphere was fabulous. we want to visit this place again.
but clean ... there was a lot of other people's hair in my bed under the sheet. in the bathroom, there was pubic-like hair in the corners. I asked to clean my room, the next day a worker came, but abslutely did not fix my problems, but it was like adding more hair. I have OCD and I was mentally affected by the dirty room.

The hotel rooms were nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Nice breakfast. Good range of facilities for children. Loved the swimming pool, soft play area, children’s disco. I thought the staff were all wonderful and worked really hard - as someone who’s worked in a hotel it’s bloody hard work. Giovannis offers a good range of Italian food. Book ahead.
When you read the reviews it easy to be put off by the negative comments. I feel some are harsh. As long as you read up on things and do your research before it’s absolutely fine. I think it’s down to whether you feel you’re getting good value for money. It’s expensive but I ended up with a price I was happy with. I think it would just benefit on some money being spent to update bits of the centre. But I feel this could be said about a lot of Aviemore. We picked the hotel because it offers alot for children. Our son had a wonderful time. He loved the pool, soft play, cinema and entertainment. He was happy and as a result we were happy.

Fabulous hotel, so much to do and see, very big. The swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids. The breakfast selection was big and delicious.
The distance between some of the facilities, we weren’t aware of the distance between our hotel and the swimming pool. We had to venture outside and had to walk 5-10 minutes without any clue where we were going, directions given wasn’t good. The lift wasn’t working, and we were a couple floors up to our room. Italian restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening.
