Nice food in evening great location, parking included plenty of room to eat really nice staff

Room 18 is noisy due to kitchen fans in the early morning. No one checked TV, so of curse the remote didn't work. The evening meal delivered the worst cappuccino I have ever been presented with. i should have demanded a refund

Beds were so comfortable and amazing. Great facilities in the room including an ironing board and hair dryer with a curly hair diffuser! Room was really spacious and well ventilated. Really nice to have the option of a fan/space heater too. Food was good and came quickly - amazing to have the option of room service too, this isn’t usually common in a budget hotel. Shower pressure was really good and bathroom was super clean too.

The lock on our door got a little stuck so we couldn’t open or shut the door properly. Lock was quite loose and needed fixing. However, once we reported it to reception they were super friendly and fixed it immediately! Bed was really comfortable and we did sleep well, but the curtains were a tiny bit too small for the window so let in lots of light in the morning - which did wake us up. Plug sockets next to the bed and both sides having a bed side table would also be really useful

Staff member was very friendly, made us feel welcome and explained everything perfectly! Bed was super comfortable (and huge) and no issues with facilities. We didn't get round to using the bar or food but it seemed to have a good atmosphere in passing. Oh and I can't not mention the stunning stained glass on the staircase!

The walls in the room needed a bit of a clean/refresh. The room we were in had a towel rack quite close to the toilet and I bumped my head everytime, partly my fault for not learning a lesson the first time. Overall perfectly fine stay for a very reasonable price!

Excellent location,nice cosy bar area,good selection of drinks.Handy for bus and train stations,pubs and restaurants a plenty. Big spacious rooms,warm and comfy beds.I especially liked the large bath,breakfast included which was excellent,tea coffee juice and help yourself to toast. Staff from cleaners to management very helpful and great service. I found the whole week I stayed exceptional and highly recommend booking if your looking for a hotel in Andover.

Faultless

Everything was friendly and simple. I am autistic and the only concern I had was the front door and how to use it at night (I have insomnia and enjoy fresh air when I can’t sleep). The staff were lovely and instead of just telling me. Showed me how the key worked with the front door (as every door is different) and it was amazing.

This is specific to our stay and me. I’m fairly sure not many others will have this problem. But we stayed in Room 28. The furthest walk to a room and I have a pretty unstable knee that loves to ache and mess with me

The bed was very comfortable and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was a great size. I would stay again in the future.

There are a lot of cobwebs within the room, and the lights and tops of wardrobe need a good dusting. The bathroom, although clean, could do with a new lick of paint on the ceilings as bits of mould coming through. The grouting around the bath tiles could use some going over as starting to look abit black. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Good size room with a big king size bed with equally good size bathroom! Both Room and Bathroom were clean and well stocked with basic supplies of tea,coffee and bathroom toiletries. Breakfast included with plenty of hot options all cooked fresh with unlimited juices, coffees and general ingredients of a Continental breakfast to help yourself to while waiting.

Carparking is free when staying but can be difficult to get a space at busy pub opening time, but main problem the disable space always in use! never saw one car showing a blue badge and as I was travelling with a person on crutches with a badge he had to walk from overflow carpark which wasn't easy for him!

It’s very unique could use a little update in places but very comfortable beds and had all we needed. Mugs in the room would be better than the small cups for drinks: The restaurant was busy on the Saturday night so we were unable to have food or drink that night and was unsure if we could have ordered anything to our room? We would have asked but they seemed busy so we managed with shop bought items in our room instead. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very well priced It was also very tasty. The room was very clean, although a little old fashioned and could do with an upgrade, but that didn't take away from the overall room or cleanliness. The hotel was right in the middle of town, so it was very easy to get around.

The only thing I could put here is the need for an upgrade to the rooms and bathrooms and also the carpets in the hallways.

The hotel was in a good location for shops and places to eat if you didn't want to eat there. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful, as were those in the pub/restaurant. All the food I ate there was of a high standard and plentiful. The bed was one of the most comfortable I think I've ever slept in. It was well I stayed for 1 night or I wouldn't have left it on Sunday. All in all, I had a very nice stay and would do so again

There was no lift. I have osteoarthritis in both knees, so having to climb up/down approx 20 stairs on different levels to get to my room (with and without luggage), was not easy. The bathroom was HUGE! The bath, however, didn't have any rail to hold onto as I climbed in/out when I showered. To say this could be dangerous, is an understatement. Put a rail on the wall opposite the taps and the problem is solved. I really don't know what was wrong with the TV. It kept switching itself off and when it came on again, there was a picture but no sound. I had to press the mute button twice to get that back. As I was watching the 6 Nations Rugby at the time, it was quite annoying as it happened so often. Either sort the aerial out or put a new TV in the room please
