Although the hotel was a bit dated and without an elevator, the staff's assistance and care really made up for the two limitations, e.g. the staff carried my luggage up to my room (on the second floor). Also, the location was very central (although the car had to use another road to get to the hotel and it wasn't put in the Google Map) but very quiet and near a few nice restaurants, e.g. Salad Boy (highly recommended for clean foods). The room I stayed in was spacious with a nice balcony that I could do my readings on. The bathroom was good: hot water came fast and it was strong, too. Finally, there was a little space for parking that my friend appreciated in front of the hotel. PS: Forgot to mention they had bikes to borrow--for FREE! But I didn't use them since my friend's got a car.

Besides the fact that they didn't have an elevator and the place was a bit dated, everything else was very fine. In fact, I didn't have much to carry so no elevator was fine; also, the dated decor was okay, too. :-) PS: They didn't have any breakfast served but I don't normally take it so it was all right. If anyone cares for a good & very healthy + very inexpensive diet, just go to Salad Boy--about a 10 minutes' walk.

Great central location. The road is moderately busy, so there is some traffic noise, but generally, it did not disturb us. Downstairs, there is an open sitting area where you can help yourself to tea and coffee in the morning. The staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was freshened/cleaned daily on request. I think there are 10 rooms in total: 5 on floor 2 (1st floor if you're from the UK) and 5 on floor 3. There isn't a lift. We were in room 3, which was huge with a big king-size bed and a balcony. The room was clean and well maintained and nicely decorated (modern). The shower room was large and clean, too. We asked for a kettle which was provided. There is a large fridge in the room. We ended up booking for a further 3 nights because we liked the hotel and Lampang so much. We did have to move rooms as the rooms with balconies were all booked. We moved to room 10, which was actually quieter as there was no traffic noise. It was equally spacious, clean, and comfy. .

Comfortable spacious & tidy room & toilet ,especially toilet. .Helpful staff although she can’t speak fluent English,but using Google translation is ok. .Value for Money. .We enjoyed to stay there and will stay again in future.

The hotel staff were so lovely and courteous in accommodating my request for a quiet room and helping me connect with a great motorbike rental service provider. The room was (and still is :-)) airy, with lots of natural light from its large windows and a super comfortable bed. The hotel itself is near a lovely buzzing local market that comes alive after 5pm. I ended up extending my stay because of these.

I must say the staff in Huglampang show warm hospitality! Although the reception lady cant speak english, she still try her best to communicate with me using the google translate app in her tablet and accomodate my needs. In particular, she helps line me up with a private car driver for a one day trip to the outskirts. I highly appreciate her patience and dedication in giving the best stay experience for her guests:) The light snacks they offer in the reception are nice too! Biscuits are in ample supply, and ocassionally in the morning time, if you are luckly, you will have sticky rice cake to go with your morning tea of coffee. The rooms are comfortable as well.

no coffee or tea in room, would have been nice to save getting dressed to go downstairs for drink when wake up, ill bring my own next time and it wouldnt stop me staying again

Great location.. comfortable, clean, big room.. staff spoke little English but very friendly n helpful, free brand new bicycles for customer to use and.24 hours coffee/tea with biscuits added to the every cent you spend. If an electrical kettle was provided in the room I would definitely give it a perfect 10! Highly recommended.

The staff at the reception is the best. She always made sure that I had all I needed to have a great time in Lampang. The location of the hotel is great: it is right at the center of the old town where I could walked to many places like temples, the weekend market, and many restaurants. Highly recommended this place.

Great for our 2-night stay in Lampang. It's about 15 mins from the bus station by song thaew. The night market is less than 5 min walk away. local market just behind the hotel and a few popular eating spots all within 10 to 15 mins walking distance. Good location and value for money. Our room was generally clean and nice although we spotted some questionable stains on one of the wardrobe doors and a small stain on the bedsheet. There was a half-opened empty box in our wardrobe. Toilet paper was almost used up when we checked in but we could easily request for a new roll at the front desk. Felt like housekeeping was done in a hurry. We got room 4 with the balcony facing the road but it wasn't too noisy. Bed was comfy. We liked that we could refill our bottles and have free coffee/tea with light refreshments at the lounge area. The staff were helpful despite speaking limited English. Google Translate helped us a great deal in our communication :) She tried her best to get information for me when I initially planned on renting a scooter. We didn't do so in the end due to time constraints. The younger male staff also kindly helped us arrange a private car hire to Wat Chalermprakiat and Dhanabadee ceramics museum on a short notice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Great location where is at central of town ,near Sunday market,famous restaurants& temples. Helpful staff who make you feel at home. excellent, comfortable room with spotless clean.
