Perfect location right on the beach and in a position close to the main strip, with only a 2 minute walk to the main road and 7-11. Fab pool, loads of loungers and parasols by the pool, by the restaurant and on the beach. Plenty of clean towels, continually re-stocked through the day. Freshwater showers by the pool and even one on the beach. Lovely restaurant with an outstanding breakfast. All the food is top quality and the drinks too are great quality, from fruit juice to coffee. The room was spacious, with a balcony, large comfortable bed and plenty of free water each day. Motorcycles can be arranged through reception at a very reasonable cost and can be ready in 10 minutes, without having to leave a passport or deposit. Staff were superb. Everyone friendly and helpful. Fabulous gardens, tastefully planted to make you feel like you are walking in a small jungle resort.

There was nothing to improve on, but they strive to be better all the time.

The resort areas are kept extremely clean especially the grounds and pool area. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location on the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, bars and shops etc. Lively area with live music, karaoke late into the night.

The only thing we didn’t really like was that there were a number of people smoking joints around the pool area. Obviously it’s perfectly legal in Thailand but this is a family resort and there were lots of small children around. In other places we’ve stayed it hasn’t been allowed. But maybe something to consider if you’re travelling with little ones.

Fabulous location on beach with sun beds on both beachfront and poolside. Plenty of umbrellas for shade. Lovely clean pool,with showers for use after being in the sea or before going in the pool.plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were always smiling and helpful, always a plentiful supply of pool towels. Rooms were set in delightful tropical gardens,

Had a fabulous stay at The Hive on Lamai beach. The hotel was well looked after and beautifully placed on the beach. Our room was 301 (second floor) and a really good size. Each room had a balcony whatever floor you were on and we felt the second floor was nice because it wasn’t overlooked at all. Lots of loungers around the pool and on the beach. On our fourth day it was a bit busier so harder to get a bed with shade. Nui on reception was really helpful and went the extra mile for every query we had. The hotel includes a complimentary breakfast which was perfect, and you could order additional food if you fancied. Staff were attentive. Beach is beautiful and close to lots of restaurants, bars and a walk to the Lamai view point. Would love to stay again some day. Thank you!

Pool and beachside location were so beautiful! Also very close to the lots of shops and restaurants but off the main street enough to be very quiet. Rooms had lots of storage space. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had.

Amazing staff. Clean facilities. Good breakfast. Quiet yet close to restaurants, bars and shopping.

Just my preference on the airconditioning. Could look at increasing or replacing older units. Also taking into account that it is exceptionally hot at the moment, so I can’t fault the facility for that.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The staff were not only exceptionally friendly and welcoming, but also incredibly helpful—they organized all our day trips with ease and at very affordable prices, taking all the stress out of planning. The hotel breakfast was a daily highlight—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to choose from. Our room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. The atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. I truly can’t recommend this place enough—whether you're here for adventure or just to unwind, you’ll be in great hands!

It is on the very clean sea and has a pool. Sunbeds are around the pool. Lamai Beach in front of the hotel is very clean. It has a beautiful garden. The hotel has villas also. The staff is helpful. Breakfast OK. Restaurants and Massages are very close.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast buffet and rooms feel a bit secluded which is nice. Nice view of the sea from the pool and plenty of sunbeds

The beach isn’t great on this area of the island

Beach front hotel, couple of minutes walk from central Lamai. Clean, quiet and lovely buffet breakfast. Super friendly staff. Comfortable beds :)
