Peace and quiet, location perfect for shops sand beach

Hot water not available for early coffee until 8.00 After 5 months travelling this is a first

Very lovely staff, really enjoyed chilling on the beachside loungers all day long, the food was delicious (try the pad see ew - it is amazing). Rooms are very clean and love that you have a fridge and a little terrace. Very well located near restaurants, bars, shops but still quiet. Sunset views are amazing. Very nice, relaxed vibe.

The only thing we found a bit unusual is that cleaning service would come in between 9-10 am, sometimes we were still sleeping or showering. If you are sensitive towards AC, there is no fan to substitute it for.

If you’re travelling Thailand as a couple or small group and looking for a comfortable private room for a very affordable price, you can’t go wrong here. Location is perfect too (7/11 100ms away) The rooms feel really clean as soon as you walk in. Fresh sheets and towels and a cozy home feel. Biggest win is Robert (the owner) and all the staff - incredibly kind and so helpful. Robert organised a bike rental for us for our stay which was delivered to our door (no passport or deposit), recommended and boomed a day day snorkling tour for us and then sorted our transport to Ko Lipe. Adding to the homey feel which we loved when away! A big thank you for the stay again. Would 100% stay here again if I was coming back to Ko Lanta.

Nothing at all! Slight mention on the WiFi coming and going in our room as we were the furthest from the bar but not a problem at all.

Basic bungalow but really clear, warm shower, big sized room, lots of space to hang up clothing. Nice little front to the bungalow. Gorgeous kitty's around everywhere (but not bothersome if you don't like cats). The owner, Robert, was so helpful..helped us out when we lost our moped key, chased up a boat booking for us, rented us a moped. Very relaxed vibes, right on the beach. Would recommend and stay again

Nothing, had a great stay

Very quiet, nice garden and good location for reaching south beaches and east coast. Staff was kind and the cleaning lady made the room spotless every day. Compared to other bungalows around this one comes up very highly recommended with very few things missing. Good value, will happily return.

Room smelled like sewage, the bathroom could have been built with a syphon instead of a straight pipe. Easy to fix with a wet towel over the hole so we were not that bothered, but for a german built joint I would have expected more. We did not try the kitchen, seeing that half the menu was schnitzel/wurst/pommes to keep the german owners happy really brought up sad memories of working in the 5 star restaurants in Berlin. Big red flag.

Our stay at Isara Lanta Beach Resort was truly exceptional, especially during the quiet low season! Nestled just steps from the beach, the staff's warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. With the tranquility of the low season, we savored the serene beach without the usual crowds. Added bonus: nearby food stalls for quick bites. The well-equipped rooms and roofed terrace for meals made it a complete package. I highly recommend it for a peaceful and delightful escape!

The beach bungalows were very comfortable for our stay. I loved having the hammock outside our door. It was very quiet during our time there due to low season. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Sorted a bike for us for a day at a great price.

Due to low season the bar/ restaurant was closed. It was very quiet around ko lanta during this time but that is no fault of the hotel.

This is such a cute place at a perfect location! Beautiful views, amazing food and the best staff. Really a hidden gem! Will definitely come back.

The beds in our room need an update. We had two single beds that were very uncomfortable and you could feel many had slept there before as the mattress was not flat. Our bathroom had also a lot of moist and therefore smelled bad. The room next to us had a perfect double bed and no bathroom problems.

Well the staff made me feel at home. The place was nice, the bed was good. The location was good right on the beach. It's not really a swimming beach due to the rockey shore at low tide. But the sunsets there just hit different. The colors are incredible. But Penny is the lady managing the place. She does the job of 5 people and her smile. Oh my God her smile and kindness was definitely something you don't see often.

Great location! Located right on the beach within walking distance from several bars and restaurants. The main street (including 7-eleven, very important) is also very nearby. We booked a standard bungalow and it was super comfortable. A/C, nice bed and a terrace in front of the bungalow to chill.

The only thing I can think of is the shower drain. It did not work well, which resulted in a very wet bathroom floor. It wasn’t really a big deal for us, and when we told the owner he said he would fix it right away :)
