April 2025
We stayed in Chiang Mai as part of a road trip from Lopburi, via Tak, then returning via Phitsanulok. This was our second visit to Chiang Mai and thought we would choose a different hotel. After having now stayed at the Yaang Come Village hotel, we will book this hotel next time. Not too big, but just right with a nice level of intimacy. The car parking is much better here than our previous hotel, though there is no lift to the rooms, which could be an issue for the less mobile. The rooms were fantastic, I loved them. They were both spacious and quirky in their own way, unlike any conventional hotel room; doorways and timber vaulted ceiling above the bed. What really made me chuckle was the fact the bathroom had a male urinal, meaning sir & madam could go at the same time! The TV was a smart TV, which meant the ability to connect one's phone or tablet. This was a must given the lack of English speaking channels available across Thailand. The bed was like sinking into a giant marshmallow. It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Though we only stayed a couple of nights, we did manage a morning in the pool, which was a nice size and well managed. Breakfast was also nice, served in the restaurant near the pool. All in all, this was my type of hotel, just adorable and fabulous.
No lifts to the rooms, which would have been an issue had we brought my elderly mother along, for example. The breakfast, though acceptable, would have been greatly improved with an offering of bacon, hash browns and baked beans, to give it more of an international (farang) element.

This boutique hotel is a peaceful oasis surrounded by a green garden, very convenient to massage centres, shopping mall and river side. The rooms are spacious, simply decorated but well equipped. Swimming pool is well kept clean and large to enjoy for the hotel guests. Food quality for breakfast and lunch (at pool) have been above our expectations: good quality and variety.
There's no restaurant available for dinner which could be understandable given the high variety of F&B nearby, however we found very weird that after 4pm the pool bar closes. After having checked with staff apparently this has been the practice for few years already after Covid restrictions, but as a suggestion we want to encourage the management to keep the pool bar open until evening. Cocktails and drinks were great and for sure guest would have enjoyed!

Beautiful boutique Lanna style hotel set amongst gorgeous tropical surroundings right near Chiang Mai Night Markets. Although easy walking distance to the markets and so much more, the hotel itself is set back from the road, so it’s quiet and tranquil, and feels a world away from the hustle of the city. You just relax from the moment you walk in. Staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to help wherever possible. The property is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are very clean, very comfortable and feel private. So pleased we stayed here. Would definitely recommend. Look forward to returning!!

The hotel is super central in Chiang Mai, at 400 meters from the Night Market and next to shops, pharmacy and restaurants. The style of this structure is traditional Thai- really beautiful - and this reflects in any corner of the hotel. Trees, colorful flowers and well maintained vegetation surround all the area. All is very quiet. The swimming pool is not a huge one, but well located, very clean and has beach-beds in adequate quantity for the guests. Towels are provided Front desk personnel speak good English.
Only one flaw in such a distinctively unique hotel: coffee and cappuccino are served as extras. I think they should simply raise their room rates by 200 baht per day and and avoid guests the burden of signing (and paying) a daily bill for cappuccinos and coffees.

The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. Air conditioning was efficient and quiet. Good sized bathroom with nice toiletries. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The hotel itself is small and low-rise and built in a beautiful traditional style and the gardens surrounding it are lush and well tended. Breakfast was served outside in a covered garden room. The hotel is set way back from the road so its very quiet yet only a few mins walk to the markets and shops. Also only a 15 walk to the south side of the Old City.
The pool was salted water.

The Yaang Come Village is a really special little piece of paradise … the property is in an old lanna style and has that authentic Thai feel rather than any other boring modern hotel. It’s set in lovely grounds is walking distance to the night market and is super quiet in the evening. It has a beautiful pool and charm about it that is refreshing. The staff are also super helpful and made our stay a real pleasure.
Nothing - and it’s amazing that after some of the worst floods in recent history they had the place up and running … you wouldn’t know if you didn’t ask

Our room was great, very big, bathroom was great. The room was cleaned daily and the staff did an excellent job. We would quite often go to the pool after breakfast for a couple of hours and by the time we returned to the room it had been cleaned. Breakfast was great with tables outside and inside so you never had to look for a table. Order to cook egg station was very good and quick. Lots of noodles and rice dishes, fresh fruit, and breads. No bacon which I love with breakfast, but hey, we didn't need bacon. Staff was excellent, very friendly, and seemed to know your room number very quickly. The gardens that surround the hotel are beautiful, especially the large Banyon tree. The pool is great with plenty of deck chairs and very quiet, a great place to sit and relax and read a book in the sun. The Yaang Come Village Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the night markets, which I think are the best markets in Chiang Mai. Great shopping, great food halls with great, cheap food. We went to the markets every night and had dinner and the variety of food you could get is unbelievable and so tasty and so cheap. I would recommend the Yaang Home Village Hotel to anyone wanting a great hotel.
We arrived at the hotel and after ordering a double/twin room which we booked 6 months ago we were taken to a twin room at the back of the hotel. We were not happy and was told that there were no double rooms available, I told them I booked our room 6 months ago and I expected a double room. After a couple of phone calls to reception they did manage to find us a double room.

The property was gorgeous and literally like an Oasis as everyone else has described it . There are so many plants and Trees everywhere. It's just beautiful. The rooms are spacious and pretty and in line with the structure of the hotel. Location is great ...very close to the night market and good restaurants near by. Most of the days the staff was great and very helpful.
I accidentally broke a tiny Vase in the room and was Charged 450 Baht for it which seemed very steep for it. While leaving we needed some laundry bags and were told that it would cost us 250 baht. We decided against it. But during checkout they made us wait for more than 30 mins as they were looking for a missing laundry bag. One of us ( we had 4 rooms) had to go back to the room from the reception and help them look for it. We needed to extend the room for a few hrs as we were going out in the morning. The staff was neither accomodating nor pleasant about it. The end of thebstay seemed a little bit upsetting.

Very good hotel in Chiang Mai. It is a green oasis in the middle of the city with a swimming pool. Close to Night Markets and Night Bazars and with a supermarket nearby. Massage salons and restaurants can be found everywhere around. Our room is spacious and very comfortable and clean. I recommend this hotel and would come again.
The only downside is that the cicades can be noisy from time to time, but hey, that is nature.
