Location and friendly staff

This was a great find! Location was fantastic. The staff and owner were exceptional. Parn the reception was very helpful and everyone was professional and friendly. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job and the linens were clean and bed comfortable. I would definitely stay here and recommend this place again.

It is also close to bars, so if your balcony doors are opened, you will hear the noise. The shower head needed fixing.

Location is perfect, right around the corner of the sweetest area in Chiang Mai. The room and bathroom were wonderful; well kept, spacious, clean and pleasant and had all we needed. The resort is a little aged however obviously lovingly and very well maintained and that makes it a perfect place to stay and enjoy. Staff is all super friendly and the pool nice for a cool down and chill moment.

Wifi was weak and intermittent and limited per room/device, however if you need a good connection just ask staff and they will set you up.

Staff were very friendly & welcoming. It is in an excellent location in the old town, nothing too far of a walk/tuktuk. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Stock was replenished well.

We never received a key for the safe even though we asked twice The balcony is a bit useless as AC unit takes up the space so no room for chairs - stay in a pool access room if within your budget.

Fantastic location. Everything you needed within a 2 short block radius. Amazing staff. Very helpful and polite staff. Very clean comfortable room and facilities. We stayed one month. Pool was a nice size and very refreshing on a hot day.

Wi-Fi was intermittent but we used data off the Thai simp card , very cheap to get at airport.

Lovely room, which was cosy. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location with lots of food and drink options along the road. Also a nice Irish bar close by.

No balcony, balcony was just a small area that you could not sit out on and it also contained the AC units. No storage room for clothes at all.

Good room with comfy beds, everything clean and working well. Away from the main road, so quiet, no traffic noise. Within the city walls, in Chiang Mai centre, on walking distance to plenty of eating and shopping venues.

The pool is rather small and is shared with guests from the next door hotel, but more than adequate for an afternoon dip after a long, hot day.

MD Boutique hotel is lovely and we only regret not having spend more time at the hotel.

We stayed at MD Boutique before, the room at the upper floor was slightly less comfortable due to the layout of the bathroom. One staff member was obviously unwell this time and as she was coughing and although we understand one is dependant on income, we would have preferred for her to wear a mask.

Great location, very clean and comfortable, lovely staff. The room was bigger than expected with separate bedroom, sitting room and furnished outside deck, and the pool area is much more inviting than in the photos. We were on the ground floor, which was perfect with kids for easy access to the pool. If quiet and privacy are more important to you, a room on an upper level might be better. We would definitely stay here again.

Only downsides were unreliable Wi-Fi and thin walls, which we only noticed on our last night when a noisy guest moved in next door. Not a major issue though.

Lovely and helpful staff. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nice spacious seating area at the front of the room. Cleaning ladies are sweet and helpful. Location is good, very walkable and a 7eleven is right across the road. Lots of space in the room for luggage. Good value for money.

We had a room by the pool. The bed area is a bit dark. No natural light. The pool could do with some loungers.
