Super cool hotel representing W brand very well, staff were very friendly and efficient

Location is not good for tourists, hardly any restaurants, spas, malls or activities nearby. So much traffic on the main street. We spent an average of 2 hours a day in taxis. This location is good for business but if you are a tourist then I would recommend staying elsewhere.

The room and facilities are great, couldn't ask for anything more. It was convenient to walk through the (air-conditioned) Sathorn Square building to reach Chong Nonsi BTS station and having a 7/11 closeby. It was always easy to get a Grab/taxi directly to/from the hotel (other locations in Bangkok can sometimes be gridlocked with traffic).

The location was a bit out of the way from the central hustle and bustle, which might some suit some people. At night you may hear traffic from the main road but didn't bother us as we aren't light sleepers.

My family and I had a bad experience at a previous hotel in the area. We decided to go with the W for the second part of our trip. Crystal, the front desk manager, I think, greeted us and made the entire stay pleasant. She gave our daughter special amenities too! We reserved a ride back to the airport at the end of the trip. We forgot our passports so the staff immediately reacted and drove the passports to us at the airport. Natti (sp?) waited with us the entire time at the airport until we were through security.

The combination of exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and a vibrant atmosphere made my stay at the W Hotel genuinely relaxing and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience in Bangkok!

W Bangkok delivers well on its promise in many ways. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with a stylish design that feels true to the W brand. The food, especially at the Japanese restaurant, is excellent, and the gym and pool are perfect for relaxing or staying active during your stay. Overall, it’s still a great place to stay, but some updates and attention to details like this would help the hotel fully live up to its reputation.

I did experience a minor issue with the tablet in my room—it wasn’t working properly, which meant I couldn’t adjust the AC or use the "Do Not Disturb" feature. Although I informed room service, it wasn’t resolved during my stay. Additionally, the hotel is starting to feel a bit dated compared to newer W properties.

- Great big bathtub, would have been better had bath salts been provided as part of the daily toiletries - This is probably not such a big deal but there should be a dedicated pedestrian footpath for hotel clients to cut across from lobby entrance to the main gate. Often times I find myself battling with the cars that are either crossing over or turning in. Definitely don’t feel so safe. - My room was clean but not spick and span - crumbs on the carpet were there from whence I checked-in till I checked out - clearly not vacuumed on a daily basis. - And please, are the water bottles provided in the room replenished from the tap? They taste funky

The room was very nice and modern. Very comfortable and stylish, with lots of mirrors and a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom. Most of all I liked the employees of the hotel. Everyone is so polite and helpful, always ready to answer all questions. I had several requests prior to arrival. And all of them were fulfilled. And on my last night, I returned to the room to find a beautiful dessert provided as a good bye gift by the hotel. I was very impressed. Thank you.

It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't use the swimming pool in the last 24 hours of my stay because it had been cleaned. However, I understand it's necessary, and I was indeed offered a chance to use the swimming pool in another hotel, if I wanted to. So all good.

It’s in the Sathorn area and around 5 mins walk to the nearest BTS called Saint Louis. There are some good bars and eateries around the area and a plus point is that Healthland Sathorn is around the corner 350m away. Staff were professional and very helpful. The room stylist was attentive and gave us more bottled water. We were there for our wedding anniversary and the hotel prepared cupcakes, balloons and a card for us. It made our trip very memorable. The house on Sathorn was just at the property with a choice of high tea or dinner.

Prefer to have more professional looking shower gel, shampoo bottles given the “high class” feels of the hotel. I’m sure Davines is a good brand , focused on sustainability but I find the bottles cheap looking.
