The hotel is well located and close to the major temples, Khao San Road and the taxi boat. It is within walking distance of several street markets. It is off a main road and is generally not noisy. We had a large corner room with a bathtub shower and a view outside. The bed and room in all was large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with traditional Thai food and western food being served. We loved the service of an espresso / cappuccino/latte machine and ordering eggs made as we wanted. The service was wonderful. The people who work there are very kind and approachable especially the ladies at the front desk.

The only thing that we did not like was that the alley where the hotel is located has an area where there are a lot of people who gather, not sure if they live there or are selling things. There is also a lot of garbage and a strong smell somethings. It does not affect the good service and cleanliness of the hotel. When leaving the hotel, we would always turn left and walk to a main street and then the rest of the walk was fine.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us call a taxi without any hidden fees or overcharging us. (I had a different experience in other hotels were an airport ride would have cost 2000 vs 500 baht at Siri heritage.) Breakfast was yummy, a little bit of everything, plus espresso drinks and an egg station. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Its not the fanciest place but it’s good value and a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was also very quiet at night.

Having an extension cable so there are more outlets by the bed would be helpful.

All up the hotel offered great value - we selected the hotel due to its location in the old city the real Bangkok. So, while the location was important so were the hotel facilities which are excellent with large comfortable rooms and a good bathroom. The hotel has a good swimming pool which is great to cool off after walking around to the temples and markets and with a roof top terrace so you can take a beer upstairs to watch the sun go down. The hotel provides a good simple breakfast.

The air-conditioning in our bedroom went directly on to the pillow of the bed nearest the window. We asked the hotel to move the beds over away from the window and the problem was solved. There are a large number of homeless people in old Bangkok including around the corner from the hotel, but don't appear to cause any problems. This can be quite confronting, but there is a lot of poverty in Thailand when you get away from the resorts and shopping malls. If you are able consider giving some support to a charity that feeds the homeless.

The room is spacious and the bed is large and comfy. The a/c works well and had good sleep. Hot shower anytime. The location is walkable from the temple attractions and from the Khaosan road. The breakfast is spectacular with respect to the price I paid for the stay. Overall, it is a real value for the money and will recommend staying at this hotel. Will definitely book the same if will go back to Bangkok.

The neighborhood could be a little sketchy during night, so I would recommend booking a transportation if you will go out on a night stroll. Nonetheless, we went out and took a stroll up until Khaosan Road without any problem.

The location at first will seem unsafe but couldn't be further from the truth. You will most likely be the only non Thai you see walking around in the neighborhood but no one looks at you twice. It is close to a river that I'll have to warn you to watch out for scammers as they patrol that area to find tourists to dupe into tourist packages that are far too expensive. The hotel itself was very comforting to come back home to after long days out in the humid Thai sun. The staff is friendly and eager to assist with directions and all sorts of other things. The breakfast is lovely and the location is central, close to the grand palace and Khao San road.

Super comfortable bed, car parking spaces with security, and a lovely little breakfast served with love. From the minute we walked in, we felt like we were welcome and appreciated as visitors. In the reception area there is coffee, tea, water and small snacks. The pool area is covered, and so we were able to enjoy the rain and the thunder whilst relaxing in the pool. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The aircon didn't hit directly onto the bed and had a low setting, which was almost silent. The shower was powerful and hot. The TV had some English channels. There was a desk and two chairs, safe and dressing gowns as well as the usual toiletries and kettle and water. The area is a little shabby and smelly, but if you walk to Khoasan Road (just 10 minutes walk away)at dusk, you'll see how many homeless people are being fed in this area. That is why so many are here. When walking home at night, you can see how safe this area really is, with many sleeping in their makeshift homes and women waiting on the streets.

It's difficult to find something, but maybe adding extra pigeon spikes to prevent the ones that hide on the 6th floor from pooping on the seats at the backside of the pool.

It’s location to the main palace and temples, all in walking distance. Really comfortable bed. Nice coffee/ egg station. Nice swimming pool ( tóeles provided) we didn’t get to use it though. Staff all very friendly.

Breakfast was ok thanks to the coffee and egg station. Can’t get my head around the Thai dishes for breakfast , i did try them and they were all very nice. The bread was too sweet and pastries were rubbery for my taste but I could eat the fresh fruit which with the eggs was more than enough. Furniture a little tired but obviously didn’t affect our holiday in any way. Out front of the hotel as previously mentioned is some what scruffilous but it didn’t put us off booking and we weren’t bothered by anyone during our stay. A little low on options for eating out close by but a short stroll to Khaosan Road, where we did find a nice place just off the main drag.

Pros: -Very historic, old world charm boutique hotel - Reminds me of a less swanky Raffles Hotel in Singapore - Our standard double bedroom had a comfortable king size bed and nice shiny cherry wood floors, Moroccan tiled bathroom & simple yet elegant antique like furnishings! - Sumptuous, delicious breakfast buffet with continental as well as good Thai food choices - Good coffee, espresso & different varieties to choose from - Pool is small but great for a refreshing dip - Great for families & couples

CONs: - far from city center - must take grab, taxi or Tuk Tuk everywhere - A bit sketchy neighborhood… saw a couple stragglers peeing at the corner behind a rundown car being used as a shelter; it seems. - Lots of garbage in that corner - But it’s still relatively safe to walk around at night.

Set in the old town area close to the Grand Palace and Khoa San road night market - highly recommend! A quiet location and very helpful and polite staff, especially the young man on the reception desk who was very helpful, polite and cheerful. Easy to get around from here, Iconsiam is only 20 mins TukTuk ride away as is the Grand Palace. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, hot and cold. The hotel even did us a lovely breakfast box to take to the airport when we left. Highly recommend

The room shower managed to spray everywhere! Could do with a proper shower curtain to contain the water.

Staff are fantastic here and the rooms are clean and give you everything you need. The A/C works well, bathrooms very clean and excellent shower. Bed was really comfortable and the pool and breakfast facilities were excellent. They make you omelettes to order and have very good coffee and thai breakfast options. Yes the area is a bit sketchy with lots of poor Thai in the streets but this is Bangkok and they don't bother you if you walk through to where you are going. If you need a place close to Khao San Road but quiet enough to sleep then this is perfect. I highly recommend Tanns Coffee shop nearby too
