The staff and location. I was in need of some medication, Khunyai and John, helped me immensely. Khunyai found an appropriate pharmacy and John took me there on his bike. I had issues with my card and John loaned me the money! This was above and beyond. Thank you very much. I would also like the say that the kindness from ALL the staff was in helping me with my additional needs was very much appeciated. Once again thank you.

I really loved the view, and the breakfast buffet on the ground floor. Staff and management were excellent and everything went as smoothly as expected, definitely would return back if in the area.

The AC was a bit weak. Not a lot of sound isolation between rooms. Early night hours are just a bit noisy. The image in the listing did not absolutely reflect the room.

My wife and I really enjoyed dining at the restaurant on the balcony (especially the complimentary breakfast), but it was the view from our room that made the entire stay worth it... Trust me, if you stay here, you will not be disappointed. The room and amenities are amazing. The staff is lovely. Thank you Sala Arun for a romantic few days on the water!

the view is absolutely amazing, and the balconies are really private. bed is super super comfortable, as the pillows. the room is nice, with hot water in the shower, bathrobes, spacious. it’s very very very nice. the breakfast is great!! the eggs are the best I had. I have only good things to say about it and will stay here again. it might seem in a far location and in the middle of some alleys which might be a bit weird at night, but don’t worry. it’s very very easy to get to touristic locations as you have two piers right next to it as well as the MTR station (rajinee). it’s very well located, really.

I loved it. maybe the price could be a little lower. I don’t mind, but keep in mind is a very very busy restaurant also, so there’s stairs to walk up to the rooms that might be not suitable for elders/children. the entrance is shared with the restaurant and there’s always a LOT of people. we didn’t mind at all though.

Excellent location for a few days in Bangkok to see temples and Palace. View of Wat Arun and traffic on the river was great.

Stairway could get crowded with large parties visiting restaurants and bar but was not as loud as had been feared. Not much info provided for tourists, but staff was kind and pleasant.

Stunning view of river and of Wat Arun and really close to the Grand Palace and other temples. Loved the safe and fridge. Amazing balcony out onto the river. Shower was brilliant. Room and hotel was very clean and tidy. Great roof top bar with amazing views. Staff were very helpful.

Very charming place! Restaurants on two levels and a bar on the top, all with a gorgeous view of Wat Arun and river. The room was stylish, clean and comfy, with a balcony looking down the alley towards Wat Phra Kaew. Restaurant had really good food.

Breakfast could be better.

The location is outstanding with Wat Pho across the street, the Grand Palace down the block, the MRT underground rail a couple blocks away & the pier to cross Bangkok's main river to Wat Arun. The room was serenely comfortable, but I didn't get much sleep as I was so taken in by the view from my balcony of the boats passing by & the majesty of Wat Arun across the Chao Praya River. Although I did visit the rooftop bar which offered a great view, I chose to spend most of my time on my room's balcony. Sala Arun left a lasting impression & has become a go-to place for rejuvenation of peace & tranquility within my being. The restaurant on the main floor is the stage to the majesty of Wat Arun. The food was delicious & the staff excellent. This was a great find & a keeper for the future.

The lighting in the bathroom was a little on the dark side, but to be honest, it played off the wood so well that it almost transports you back in time. I simply love Sala Arun & will return with a large group of friends to experience the zen.

Excellent riverfront location. Beautiful view from room. Very nice restaurant, breakfast included. Close to Wat Pho, Wat Arun etc, even Chinatown. Room was very comfortable.

I slightly downrated "comfort" because of the many stairs to climb. Front desk is also restaurant reception and sometimes a bit frantic but people are very nice.

The location was perfect and the view is amazing. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast is also really good.

You can hear a lot of noise from people taking outside your room or people coming from the rooftop bar.
