We got a nice room for 3. The staff were so friendly. They helped me book a Thai massage appointment for me and my mom. And the best part? The massage parlour was literally beside the hotel! We even ate at the restaurant directly in the hotel and it was good (they had also been rated by Michelin). Room was overall clean and comfy and housekeeping came to clean everyday. We lived about 20 mins from the nearest jetty and 10 mins away from Khaosan Road which means food is very accessible.

We wanted to go out at night to get food at Khaosan. There is a stretch of road to get there that is full of homeless people so it’s a wee bit scary. But that’s my only complaint. Overall my stay had been nothing but positive.

This is a great location to Khao San Road, around foreigners, and temples. If you are more focused on shopping centers, I do suggest staying closer to those areas. Our room was cleaned daily, and everything was spotless. We were given water everyday and was always replenished along towels. Also, we arrived super late for check-in. But I made sure to purchase for the day before along with arriving at 3AM. So my family and I really appreciated the late accommodation.

We didn't like the firmness of the twin size bed, however, our full size bed was hard too but after a few days our bodies naturally got used to it. The shower has small openings that water was able to pour out, so we had to use all of the smaller towels to wipe away the water outside the shower.

We booked one night to be centrally located and easily access the most famous sights. The room is very spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly, and we were able to book a taxi directly from the accommodation to Suvarnabhumi Airport at 4 a.m. for a fair price and pay for it at the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast, so we can’t comment on that.

Although the accommodation is in a quiet area, I recommend sleeping with earplugs. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is quite loud. Since I usually sleep with earplugs, it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers should keep this in mind before booking.

The property was clean and the rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful which added to the positive overall experience with the hotel.

Our room had a broken windows. Which I assume was the reason that we could hear the outside traffic very loud. The location of the property also took us by surprise. The neighbour was filled with homeless people at night and generally I didn’t feel safe walking alone on the road.

The location is great with many good/famous local restaurants nearby including few rooftop bars with nice view at night. Many museums including the Royal Grand Palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha within walking distance. The room is spacious and very clean. The Air-condition is so good (I'm sensitive to the heat). Sleep very well through the night. Though the hotel is just off the Ratchadamnoen Avenue, there's no noise from the traffic even during daytime.

Shower with hot water works well but bigger shower head will be even better. The curtains can't block the light. If you're not an early bird, you might like to wear eyes-mask.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful with everything—they went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests and even booked tours exactly as I wished. The room was clean and decent, and the room service was simply amazing.The location is unbeatable, with the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun all nearby—you can easily hop on a tuk-tuk to explore. My heartfelt thanks to the front desk staff for making my Bangkok trip truly memorable. Highly recommend Methavalai Residence for anyone visiting the city!

There's nothing to unlike about this hotel for me.

Friendly staff. We arrive to Bangkok really early in the morning and we really appreciate that we were able to check-in several hours before official check-in time. Thank you for this possibility. Location was ok. Metro line stop could be nearer but of course that is not a fault of the hotel. In other hand, some of the most visited Bangkok places was in walking distance.

The power of the water stream in the shower was very weak. This could be improved.

Great location as I was going to a Jazz club in that part of town; could see Democracy monument through the window. Air con worked well. Very helpful staff person, Patsada, helped me charge up my Sim card using her own phone - couldn't figure it out on my own. Lucked into a triple room for double price, so space was nice.

Only items lacking were: a plastic comb in the bathroom, I forgot mine so had to go to 7-11 to buy one, and that one fell apart/broke immediately 2) no slippers for walking around, down to lobby etc

The location is pretty nice, it was walking distance to a few temples and the grand palace (a bit of a long walk to the palace tho) The staff members were friendly, the room was nice and spacious and clean, plenty of space for our 4 suitcases. The bed was so comfortable. Had good nights sleep throughout our 5 night stay.

We had problems with the water temperature in the shower. The temperature fluctuated a lot even for a quick shower. The same thing happened in our hotel in Phuket as well, so maybe it's a Thailand thing?
