The communication was exceptional—very responsive and incredibly helpful! I chose this hotel for our stay during the Lantern Festival, and they even provided useful information about the event. It's only a 3-5 minute walk to Pingxi Old Street, where we had the chance to release a lantern. The bus stop and local train station are also close by, and convenience stores like 7-11 and FamilyMart are within walking distance—perfect for grabbing breakfast or a late-night snack. By around 6 PM, the community becomes peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy your stay. The room is spacious and well-equipped with complimentary amenities, including free bottled water and tea. For added convenience, there’s also a hair dryer for ladies and a small fridge to keep your food fresh. When we attended the event, we left our luggage there and picked it up later that night. We truly appreciate having these requests accommodated!

I think it was the only place to stay in Pingxi. It was very clean, although there was a slight mold smell in the bathroom. The room had a dehumidifier and aircon, which was nice. It had a large window overlooking a garden, the river and the town. Waters were replaced each day and there was filtered water in the lobby area.

Nothing really, we stayed in Pingxi two nights to take advantage of the hiking in the area. Only negative was there were no dinner options other than 7-11 or Family Mart. All shops and restaurants close around 5pm. But these are not the fault of the guesthouse. And after the first night, we realized we must eat early if we didn't want convenience store food.

The room is very clean and comfortable the location is also great, easily accessible by train and bus. also free road side parking is very close to the hotel. the owner was also very helpful to assist when I locked myself out in the morning.

the room is a bit small. and bring ear plugs, as the noise isolation is nkt very well, I could hear the neighbors talking.

Super clean and comfy with a great view of the river. It was cold and rainy the first day so we appreciated the heating. On the second day it was very hot so we appreciated the air conditioning! We could also store our bikes easily in the foyer.

A bit complicated to check in. It would be much easier to receive the instructions by message a few hours ahead of time.

Great location, a few minutes walk from the train station on the Old Street. Very helpful care taker. Owner allowed extra (no cost) hour to vacate. Room was realy good.

Nothing to dislike. Advice - all eateries in Pingxi (not many) close early, around 7 - 8pm.

The balcony, and the location. And when the earthquake hit, I felt safe. It was decorated nicely.

Not much. Be careful, the water is really hot. Oh, also the coblestones were difficult to drag a suitcase over.

Good hotel. Nice environment, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff who is there is friendly and helpful. I love the environment. It is walking distance to train station and 3 stops to shi fen. Next to the hotel is the Ping Xi old street with some food within reach in the day.
