Zinkensdamm is only a few metro stops from the Center of Stockholm (T-Centralen stop) so it was really convenient getting to places like Gamla Stan etc. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and the shared bathrooms were also very clean as they’re cleaned every morning. You get your own room as per the pax booked, e.g if you book for two people you get a room which fits 4, to yourself. It’s also near this park where you can have a picnic with your friends & family, or do simple workouts if the weather is good.

Would’ve been nice if the beds came with linen sheets but I understand why they charge for it / encourage occupants to bring their own. But the linen sheets (costs 70 SEK) were very comfortable if bringing your own isn’t an option.

The room had everything needed for sleeping. The location is a bit remote from the center but the surrounding area is green and peaceful. The price was unbeatable, especially during the hockey championships. The hostel option breakfast was adequately priced.

The rooms are very small and the bunk beds are adequate for teenagers but most likely not for adults. I did find out about the "rent the sheets and towels" option beforehand from other customers' reviews (but after I had already booked the room - it is not clearly marked on booking) but this is still a bizarre practice for non-Swedes.

The accommodation was one of the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Although the accommodation is not in the central, there are many bus and metro stations nearby, so you can reach everywhere easily. There were many restaurants and grocery stores around, the accommodation is in a quite neighborhood. The sauna was also a great plus. The hotel breakfast was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and clean.

We were staying in a private 2 person room, but it was confusing if this was part of the hostel or the hotel part of the accommodation. As we were considered part of the hostel, the bed sheets and towels were not included in the price, so we needed to pay extra (surprise at arrival). It is also confusing that there are 2 separate breakfasts: the 'hostel' and the 'hotel' breakfast. Although we haven't tried, but the hostel breakfast looked uninspiring. (even if you stay in one type of accommodation, you can choose the breakfast in the other one)

The hotel was located close to the city centre in beautiful surroundings, with a manageable distance to the popular attractions accessible on public transport. The room/washroom was clean, and the space was fine. We did not have any breakfast at the hotel; anyway, we thought the selection was a little overpriced. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The common kitchen was a surprise. Highly recommended.

The only drawback is that the distance to the closest shop is little too far of a walk and there were no facilities to make tea at the room.

Good choice of food and drink in the bar/reception area, such as sandwiches and bottled water etc. Generally a nice looking and feeling hostel, well presented and friendly enough staff, in a good location felt very safe.

Bit of a strange booking and room system, essentially booked a room for myself but had two bunk beds in. Paying for the linen etc not ideal but was aware of that prior and easier than bringing your own. I know it's a hostel but some basic soap dispenses in the communal showers would have been good.

Perfect place! It combined the best parts of a hostel and a hotel - a welcoming staff and reception, luggage storage, a private room (with 4 beds just for myself, which I had missed upon booking - they don't rent just beds anymore), clean shower area, spacious guest kitchen + dinning hall + lounge for the hostel guests. And during breakfast you can choose if you wish to: a) cook for yourself at the guest kitchen b) buy the hostel breakfast c) spoil yourself and buy the hotel breakfast - which is an upgraded version of the hostel breakfast. The location was perfect - on one of the islands, walking distance from the Old Town, 1 hour (walking) from Tivoli (or 30 min by public transport). It is close to the main street, but some 100 meters on the side, surrounded by tiny gardens and a park, so it's peaceful. For the first time in a long time I didn't need to use earplugs during the night, and that says a lot. If I ever come back to Stockholm, I'll stay here again.

This was our first time staying in a hostel. I agree that some things work that way and for the money you won't find anything better. However, I would like to suggest that adding a mini fridge to the room would not ruin the concept. Everything else was as it was and we really enjoyed it.

The only thing that was bad was that if someone is in the room above you, you will hear every step or jump in the evening, which if you have a baby can be a problem. Luckily for us, it wasn't a problem, but I said that at the reception, as I'm writing here now.

The people were very friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice, there were lots of young people but also a few families. We (two people travelling together) had the room for ourselves, which is, I think, the habit, it was definitely a pleasant surprise not having to share the room, although we booked "two beds" in a room according to Booking.com. The room had a bunk bed, and two beds you could pull down (or leave up in case you didn't need them, so you had more space in the room), also a table and two chairs. There were enough toilets and showers available for all the people, and there was a big kitchen you could use equipped with everything you need as well as a dining room, that was really nice. Also the hostel breakfast was nice, there was bread, yogurt, scrambled egg, some toppings, which was a good value for the price.

Convenient location (10 minutes to the subway, 15 minutes to the flugbussarna stop to the airport). Quiet room, neighbors are not heard. The room is very small, but sufficient for sleeping. Sufficient number of showers and toilets on the floor, clean and quite comfortable. Varied and tasty breakfast, paid separately. Convenient common kitchen with the necessary kitchen utensils (only spoons and forks slightly lacking). Beautiful and smart territory of the hotel. Around the hotel is also a quiet beautiful place.

This is the first time for our family with a young child and teenager to stay at a hostel. It was very comfortable and positive positive experience. We enjoyed the nearby gardens and grounds. The rooms were wonderful. The fold away bunkbeds were perfect.

We wondered if we were too loud walking around and sometimes could hear the foot steps walking of people above us or in the hallway, but it wasn’t a problem. it would be nice to know more about the local park on the website to inform guests of the a great playground nearby and many great restaurants. Just a few minutes walk from the front door.
