Immediately felt safe. The property, my vehicle, and surrounding area. This is very important to me. The staff is visible, friendly, and the general area of the lodge is clean, noise levels are always acceptable and the surrounding area have access to freeway, train to entire Gauteng business hub is around the corner. Nice choice of restaurants very close.

I can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed by the rooms - but - it's difficult to have the entire general lodge exceed expectation and then complain the rooms are underwhelming. But I am just being honest. There are better priced options in the surrounding area - with better rooms.

The staff had no problem in helping with making bacon the morning of the breakfast. The chef helped and assisted. But I should have had a look at the breakfast that was served before I paid, because if I saw what they offered I would definitely not eat breakfast there.

The breakfast was very poor, there was really not a lot of options and had to ask if they can make bacon as there was toast and eggs, and some sort of sausage that really did not look appetizing at all. They however had no problems in assisting me in making some, but the breakfast was really not up to standard.

Location was perfect as the family didn’t live far from there. Breakfast was adequate for someone that actually never eat breakfasts. Your staff were very friendly, from the person/s at the security gate to everyone in the Lodge.

The Lodge doesn’t have an elevator. Would not have preferred to climb to the first floor. But I should have enquired. You ask that I conserve water but to get to hot water, I had to run the water for more than 30 seconds to a minute.

Breakfast was excellent. A fair variety of dishes are always presented, and the quality of the food is exceptional. I have stayed over a number of times and not once did I experience anything out of place or below expectation. My partner and I are staying over soon. I can't wait!

Nothing! Absolutely nothing!!!

I am an amputee, so when I made a booking, I didn't know I had to do a follow up call to explain my situation, so that I can be given a room that accommodates my status. When I god there the room that I was allocated didn't have Grab Bars,that was sorted without a fuss and I really appreciated that.

So far there nothing I can complain about, the place was accommodating and cool

Staff very welcoming. Willing to assist . Good value breakfast. Environment was clean and cozy (temp outside was 3*)assisted with late check-in . Location was convenient

Shower was small for me ( I am 2m tall) more towels had to be asked for. Went 30 mins before end of breakfast but hot food items were not topped up eg eggs and sausages. Pillows were too soft with no alternate option

I loved how the staff were friendly. I loved the check in process. I loved how secure the place was. The value for money is great for the location

The aircon did not work. The is no mini fridge as well. They could've invested in having two seats and two sofas. A standard bouquet of dstv channels would do

facilities are meant to be upgraded over time , carpets , walls , tiles etc if this things not managed they look old and unclean. i have noticed some worn out carpets and dirty tiles int he bath rooms . thats not good . have a proper facility management of the premises

great and fast check in friendly staff, polite and available, room easy accessible, parking brilliant !Golden the security guy from Giyani is the loveliest guy around,

the bathroom shower was good, but door faces the wrong way rendering the entire floor wet.

We were playing in a Nationals Golf Tournament so never ate at the Road Lodge. It was absolutely perfect for our requirements, nice outside area so we could sit and chat and the location was perfect.
