The place is so beautiful just like in the pictures, it was so clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay definitely going back again.The swimming pool was clean but couldn’t use it since it was raining.

There was only 1 water bottle and there were 2 of us.

Very thoughtfully designed and equipped. Good quality bed, linen towels etc. Enough space. Space in shower, with good water pressure and head. Tasteful decor, and everything works perfectly. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are not identical, we were in 9 and 10. Room 9 had a pleasant elevated view of a leafy neighbourhood. Doors open to central enosed square with pool and access to restaurant. Capable pleasant staff were on duty until 8pm. Congratulate them on not just having the important things right, in my opinion they have a almost everything right.

The bathroom and basin were one-at-a-time small, but well designed, so it didn't feel cramped.

Everything was amazing. The reception was friendly. The room was super clean, and beautiful, and smelled lovely. The sheets were super soft and perfectly ironed and fitted. A lot of care and effort has been taken with this accomodation, in making it completely cosy and comfortable. My kids were thrilled with large pool. Plus the mountain views are incredible. Well situated guesthouse! We wished we could've spent more time there, but we will definitely be back.

Booking.com suggested a room meant for 2 adults and a child, and we are a family of four. The room specified a double bed and a sleeper couch, but failed to mention it is not a couch for 2, but rather for one. Luckily our little one is small enough to share a bed with us.

The location of the guest house is brilliant, I like it. Parking is secure more especially with the net to protect our vehicles from the sun, hail and so on. The presence of an air con🤙🏽

The bed is way lower than my knee level and it racks. The door between the top floor rooms is good for a big family with kid but not good at all for guests like us who wanted some privacy. You can hear the other guests snoring or having a conversation with his/her partner. That was not good. The television set is small, actually very small. 32 inch will be great. Dstv channels are not fun as most of great ones are closed. In closing,

This place is beautiful, not too modern but very comfortable. The premises are best, best for long weekend visits. The views are exceptional. The host was great...I hope to spend more time in the next visit. Great value for money 😊

We could do with a medium to large rug or something in the winter season on the floor. The room was a bit cold.

We had an amazing experience at Shandon Lodge. The host was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh and beautifully prepared. We also really enjoyed the restaurant space—it's open, airy, and a lovely spot to start the day. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped and the food was delightful. I was also able to book in to the spa, and the service exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back! Thanks to the whole team for the superior quality of service. Such a great spot.

A fantastic, peaceful, very convenient stay at Shandon Lodge. Really well-appointed rooms, with tasteful decor and comfortable beds. Superb food at the restaurant. We had the kingklip and it was delicious, as were the accompanying veggies. The pool was great for the kids and us for a quick morning dip and the location is excellent for exploring Nelspruit and environs. Couldn't have asked for more and we will be back for sure.

Lovely safe neighbourhood with easy access and secure parking...very warm welcome. Room was very clean and well equipped and if we needed anything the staff were most attentive and were happy to help. The receptionist went the extra mile to help as was not feeling great that evening...thankyou :-)

Sound did travel, but not really a problem as one expects to hear dogs from time to time given the need for security in the surrounding properties

The drive to the place was beautiful ,the space in the room was big

The lady at the front desk wasn't welcoming at all .but on the positive side the cleaning lady was really nice.
