Did not use any meal plan offering. The location is fantastic, very close to Nahoon Beach. The area is quiet and there are great restaurants and shops close by. The Manager was awesome!!! Received a courtesy call in the afternoon of our check in to confirm all in order and to enquire on our time of arrival. Everything was ready when we arrived. He was so friendly, courteous and made us feel welcome from the first moment till we departed. Already looking forward going back to East London and already know where we will be staying :-).

The service is the absolute best. Each and every staff member we encountered was friendly. But I must piont Eugene and the front office out. This man was kind and friendly and made you feel like family from the first hallo. What you see in the photos is what you get. The apartment was clean and very well situated...just a short walk away from the beach and the little restaurant/coffee shop.

The only thing that doesn't get full points is the bathroom. It is a very small bathroom and although it has everything you need, toulet, basin, shower, it is a very tight fit.

Perfect location. Safety, also for my car, I like that I have a garage that only i have access to. Yes, wi-fi is a challenge, but for me it's perfect because who wants the distraction when you have the ocean at your backyard and all nature sounds soothing you. It is clean and functional. I'm going to continue being a repeat customer. And there's Eugene who's just a sweetheart:)

I would say new towels, even though I prefer using my own towels anyway. For the price of this place, it is a lot of value for money.

Very good value for money I recently stayed at this apartment and was very pleased with my experience. The apartment was spotless, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment right from the start. It was also highly functional, meeting all my needs during the stay. The location couldn’t have been more convenient—perfectly situated for easy exploration and commuting. Overall, it was a fantastic choice, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The host also offered a lockable garage

If I had to nitpick I would say that the building is a little dated.

Great service! Super!! 10 out of 10... The room was well prepared on my view but there where a bit and there things to sort(not even a handful) There's just alot to say that I'm happy about. (Please update the pictures on booking.com)

Other than the TV, the visuals or rather the "TV reception". The bedding was not made properly but the it was clean. The bedside lamps needs a bit of attention. Other than that I'll always come back to the reef when I have a chance!

Eugene is a fantastic host, absolutely brilliant man, he is accommodating when you check in late, I was driving from JHB and had delays along the way due to construction and rain , he waited for me till I arrived late after check in had closed and called me along the way to check up on me if I’m safe and gave guidance as to what to expect along the way. He is always prepared to go above and beyond enabling a comfortable stay.

Fantastic. Close to the sea.

The location was ideal for our plans, which primarily involved a family gathering. It was centrally located, and as we are Muslim and eat halal, it was convenient to have a halal restaurant nearby.

The staircase in the loft was a bit steep, and since we had a small child with us, we had to keep a close eye on him to ensure he didn’t try to climb the stairs. Additionally, there was no designated area for braai or relaxation on the property. Although there was a braai spot nearby, it was closed during our stay.

Thanks to the staff, who came through for us after a long day , we made mistakes on our booking but the staff managed to help us, learnt alot so guys if you are making bookings please be sure on the date. Even forgot some things in the room and luckily they kept everything for us we ended up getting them all back… thanks alot am definitely going back to the reef next time

Location was perfect. Close to Nahoon Beach which has zero tolerance for alcohol consumption on the beach and car park. The unit was neat and well maintained. Our vehicle had it's own lock up garage. Our host Eugene was warm and cordial. The bed was comfortable and the shower just great. We would definitely return and spend more time here.We recommend The Reef Apartments highly.

The staff, Eugene especially, was very accommodating and friendly. It is definitely value for money. The rooms are clean and spacious, but most importantly it’s one of the few areas that isn’t very dodgy. The views are amazing- greenery meets the ocean. Being a couple of meters from the ocean is bliss, you can hear the waves break on the rocks. Rooms with balconies are a must. Enjoy the sunset from on your door. Thanks Reef Apartments.
