From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The receptionist greeted us with such warmth, we instantly felt at home. As for the room? Absolutely stunning—truly a slice of paradise. Every aspect of our stay at Sea Star Rocks was exceptional, and the staff? Pure world-class! It’s like they all woke up on the right side of the bed, wearing smiles that lasted all day. Super helpful too! Now, let me rave about the breakfast—it was out of this world! And Anna, our waitress, deserves a special shoutout. Her blend of professionalism and friendliness was unmatched. Honestly, she might just be the best waitress I've ever encountered. This was my first time at Sea Star Rocks, but it certainly won’t be my last. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

it’s location which was away from the busyness of camps bay beach but not too far that you can’t walk it and it is a relatively cheap Uber ride back. it’s views were amazing and its was peaceful and tranquil.

it’s a little dated in the rooms with one or two broken items a torn couch and the lounge’s outside were damaged so they didn’t work too well. breakfasts were average not really 5 star and the staff were not properly trained on the various types of coffee our TV also didn’t work on DSTV, no sound, but Netflix worked

To the amazing staff, thank you!!! Everything about my stay was spectacular. From arrival to being assisted with a late check-out due to poor weather. Everyone was so helpful in any regard. Rudo was my favourite, very helpful and going the extra mile, everyone was so nice though. The room was huge and the TV too, it was a nice way to come home and relax. It felt like I was at home, that's how amazing the stay was. I enjoyed using my remote to open the curtains in the morning and take in that stunning view!!!

Only thing to work on is the Wifi, but its not a complaint.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like

The location is great for anyone looking to pull away from the busy city centres. The views are phenomenal, the beds are so comfortable and the accommodation is quite secure. Breakfast was also quite delicious and always freshly prepared. It is easy to get an uber to and from the location as well. Loved the in-room spa option!

No room slippers were available. There was no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner. Guests can however uber-eats or go out for lunch/dinner if they want. A few minor things were not working well in the room - some switches and the fireplace in my unit for example - but this was raised and hopefully next time 100% of the boxes will be ticked! Overall it was a great stay and would come back.

Staying at Sea Star Rocks was the best decision we could possibly have made during our trip to Cape Town. Not only was the checkin (even though it was late at night) the nicest I've had in a long time, but also the facilities and service were exeptional at all times . Starting the day with a nice cup of coffe in the room while enjoying the amazing view off our private balcony was just truly amazing. Normally, we don't have a big breakfast but upon seeing the various buffet options and hot menue items, we regretted only staying at the hotel for one night. My/our expectations were not only met but surpassed in any way possibe. Thank you to the entire team that made sure to remember our stay with you when thinking back on our trip!

I loved everything about this hotel. The views are to die for. The rooms are large and well equipped and clean:l. Felix, who was on the reception desk, went out of his way to accommodate me. They didn’t have low fat milk, the very next day they got it in. I was brought breakfast to my room every morning. The service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again (and I’m very fussy). I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s worth every penny.

The Sea Star Rocks Boutique Hotel is absolutely beautiful, set high above Camps Bay with views toy make your jaw drop. At first I thought we may be a little far out of town but the use of Uber taxis made the trip into town easy and quick, 60 rand and easily sourced. Pool area to your room was delightful. Our room was high end luxury with amazing extra facilities. Beds and pillows were beautiful quality and breakfast choice was exceptional. Full continental breakfast was anzing plus the additional extensive hot breakfast menu was just yummy. This place has one amazing assets, and that is the staff who run this Hotel, who who deliver service with passion and care and a constant smile. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Being at Sea Sands Rock is like being at home with your family. Felix and his team cannot do enough to help to make your stay memorable. Big thanks to Rolu and all the front of house team for taking exceptional care of us.

Everything was perfect

Hotel is in a great location in Camps Bay. The view from our room was breathtaking! Waking up to view of Table Mountain,Lionshead Mountain and the ocean was amazing. Felix and the staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming! They made our stay very special. We loved that the hotel was small and we got a personal service. We met some lovely people there too.
