The hotel, rooms and bathrooms was very clean, modern and fully stocked with tea, coffees as well as with bathroom toiletries etc. Staff and security were very friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome.

The breakfast was ok, think in terms of quality it could be upped up. For example pancakes were fried in lots of oil and not tasty. Even my egg whites i could just taste oil. With the weather being cooler a hot porridge such maybe jungle oats would have being. Some of the staff where the flask of hot water and coffee was, were not very friendly or helpful. Lot's of people were struggling with pressing the flask for either hot water or the instant coffee. In terms of the fruit and different yogurts and quality and variety of breads this was excellent. Just felt that hot foods could have been more tasty and also they could have catered for people who don't eat beef or pork sausages. I asked if there was perhaps chicken or lamb sausage and they said no.

The stay was superb.The room was beautiful, with a stunning view. The restaurant is excellent, food is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The only critic I would have is for the toilet brush in the bathroom to be cleaned or add a new toilet brush it's extremely dirty which was a bit off putting. The hotel is absolutely amazing but there are a few minor things they need to upkeep just to keep it on point, some maintenance on the wooden pieces in the rooms and grouting in bathroom, minor things but will definitely make a huge difference. Other than that, I would 100% return the stay was fabulous.

The suite room was neat and had everything handy. A comfortable size and leisure area.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic and busy. The breakfast itself had a bit of old options that were not baked that morning I.e. the croissants and other desserts. The salmon was left out and you could see that raw fish shouldn’t be keep in this condition. The hotel itself was a bit dated she could use a revamp from the aesthetic, for example, there is a water feature on the ground floor which is not well kept and the windows are stained, there is also water leaking out and a damp towel laying there trying to soak it all up.

The Room, breakfast, pool, location was all very good for a romantic stay. Outside along the wharf are additional restaurants that provide great beer on tap. The cocktail lounge at the hotel provided live music in the form of a one-man band that kept us entertained and we even danced. We had supper in the Krystal hotel restaurant and the pork belly with crackling was exceptional as well as the desert.

the water pressure in the shower was a bit disappointing but did the job. The happy hour in the cocktail lounge that was advertised in our room was not happening. However, they had a range of specials advertised on a board in the lounge. So the communication should be a bit better.

Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the marina. Very nice view. A small balcony for 2 is adequate for enjoying the sunset. The cleaning service was excellent, and we returned to a faultless clean room every afternoon.

Airconditioning is high on my list of requirements. The first room allocated to us was in a section which was under renovation. We were moved to another wing with a working air-conditioning system. We were thankful for this. The bed was not as comfortable as expected. The breakfast is a total letdown. The cold section was average, and I found each morning that the bread started drying out. The hot section was not appetising at all. With exception, the lady at the grill was very friendly and the cheese omelette was up to standard. I took the cheese omelette because the fillings looked very greasy. I am not a fussy eater, but the breakfast buffet can do so much better.

It was a very nice looking room. Has a very nice spa we got the 30 min back massage and it was very lekker.

there was a crack in the bathroom which you dont expect from a 4 star hotel we looked at having their breakfast but it was completely buffet with dry looking eggs, we went during quite time so i would think we could order from a menu so it would be fresh but no. we had dinner one evening with the Chefs special and my mine was completely different to my partners. the gym is open till 21:00 but the pool closes by 18:00 so if you gym in the evening you cant go for a swim after. they say they have a fridge with amenities included in your stay but then when you arrive, they say they no longer do that

Eleanor in Event Management and her entire team were beyond amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our 2 events a great success. Our clients raved about the food selections, so thank you to the chef and his team. Everything was fantastic. We had a wonderful room with a spectacular view! We will definitely use Krystal Beach in future for our events.

The pillows could be better. Overall wonderful stay.

The breakfast was excellent. I did not expect them to offer us a Halaal breakfast but upon check in they asked if we need Halaal breakfast and the next morning when we entered the breakfast room a Muslim lady by the name of Aziza came to us and introduced herself and quite sweetly offered to make us our Halaal breakfast and gave us quite a few options to choose from. HATS OFF to Aziza

My recent stay was elevated to an extraordinary experience with an exceptional room upgrade. The shower and bathtub were nothing short of luxurious, offering a perfect retreat after a long day. The room itself was incredibly spacious and impeccably clean, creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. The service throughout my stay was excellent, consistently meeting and exceeding my expectations. One of the highlights was the complimentary coffee and tea service. The quality was outstanding, with premium coffee pods and fine tea selections that truly enhanced my mornings.

Overall, my experience was positive, with only a few minor concerns. The kitchen staff appeared to be somewhat disorganized. Despite specific instructions from Patience to prepare Halaal omelettes on a separate pan, the initial preparation was done on a non-Halaal frying pan. It also seemed that the waitstaff were a bit unclear on the management's instructions, leading to some delays and confusion in service. Fortunately, Aziza eventually stepped in and personally prepared and served the Halaal omelette separately, which was appreciated. With a bit more coordination, this issue could easily be resolved.
