We loved staying in Bons and at La Mansio. It's very close to Les Deux Alpes and soooooo much quieter and very quaint. I didn't realize how nice it would be to go somewhere quiet after a busy day at the resorts. The staff and accommodations at Le Mansio were all superb for the pricepoint (quite cheap compared to any other resort in the alps). I would highly recommend it!

The dinner, drinks, and desert were excellent, but don't forget to ask for a reservation early in the day :)

Had a really lovely time, staff was super friendly. The place is located in a small village near les duex alpes, we loved being so close to all amenities but still be able to rest in a quiet place, the view of the stars at night was amazing. We also had one dinner at the mansio, and it was one of the best meals we had during our holiday. There’s also a kitchen facility so you can cook yourself if you don’t want to go out. We used it for one dinner and both our breakfast. Will definitely come back.

Nothing to complain

Friendly hosts who went out of their way to accommodate my needs e.g food as the restaurant in the area was shut.

Got use to having an en suite and not using shared bathroom/shower facilities, but it wasn't a problem just a preference.

One of the few restaurants that are also open during off-season and they serve very good food.

If you come by bicycle, it is an extra few hundred altitude meters but worth the nice view.

Check out time on the website says 11am but it is actually 10am

Breakfast was buffet style but a bit of a rush as we had to catch the 8am bus. The breakfast serving lady was not generous with the bread! Strictly one piece each! There was a small selection of cereal, yoghurts on some of the mornings, fruit and cold meat & cheese and cake.

The problem for us was that we didn’t realise quite how far the accommodation was from the resort. It wouldn't be a problem if you had a car or if there were more buses but there was literally one bus (no 7) which went at 8.06am and then not again till about 11am! Then coming home it was one bus an hour with the last one at 6.45pm and not again till 11.30pm. It just meant we couldn’t ski all day then shower before we went out to eat. We had one meal at La Mansio which was lovely food but no one else there really so it lacked atmosphere and there was nothing else at all nearby.

Breakfast was v minimal , toilets were congested with no handwashing, bedding was to be made ourself

Nice clean room.

Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to cook except a microwave.
