The property is in a beautiful location and has some lovely views from it as it’s perched on the side of a hill. It’s also a very convenient location for explaining newry town as well as the surrounding areas. The staff were very friendly and the dinner we had there was super tasty. The room was very spacious but we did have a superior double room, so it had a bath tub as well. Hotel over all was very clean and we would absolutely re book this hotel again

Parking is limited outside the hotel, but there is more parking at the back of the hotel. We didn know. This but it does mention this on the website so just be sure to have a read of the website carefully as we missed that little note. Not the hotel fault totally ours so just a little tip for future arrivals

Rooms were super comfortable and clean. We were at a wedding nearby and the receptionist on duty was incredibly helpful to get us to where we needed to be. I honestly can't overstate how lovely this receptionist was.

Breakfast is served until 0930. On a weekend I honestly think that's silly, especially given that some (ourselves included) might be late in from a wedding.. We checked out at 1100 (which is also too early in my opinion) but the restaurant was dead and being cleaned down. At least stay open until 1030 as most hotels would to serve breakfast. Sadly they made money from us as we didn't make it on time to breakfast.

Excellent location right off the motorway between Dublin and Belfast and next to a nice town called Newry. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is outstanding and makes you feel very welcome and at home. Special mention of Caroline who, one day when we left for daytrip too early for breakfast, so she made us coffee extra early and some sandwiches for the way. The food in the Bistro/restaurant was also very good and the bistro had a very nice ambience. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend without reservations.

This is our second time staying here. We stayed last year and found it so nice and convenient we came back again. It is nice and clean and has a really great location just off the motorway so it’s easy to get to and there is a car park just outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good.

The only thing i could say is that there was no air con in the room. However, this is a very usual problem for ireland as the weather rarely requires it. We just happened to stay on one of the warmest days this year.

What an amazing hotel, staff couldn't do enough for you... The bedroom was amazing so light and airy, with beautiful views..Bed was very comfey with plenty of pillows we alsi had complimentary tea and coffee and a glass bottle filled with water, which was a nice touch ....We went to the restaurant for food ....we got battered mushrooms for starters and steak for our main meal! Wow wow wow best meal I've ever had..The atmosphere in the bar was fantastic... Breakfast was outstanding... I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back....

The friendliness of the reception on arrival, warm welcoming with smiley face. The room was very clean, fresh and spacious, nicely decorated no scuffs or stains, with a beautiful view out of the window. We had dinner in the bar restaurant, it had an excellent warm Irish vibe, again with such warm knowledgeable friendly staff. The food was very good quality, well cooked and presented. Breakfast the next morning was again the same warm and welcoming. Great selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit and juices, followed by a hearty cooked breakfast. Waiting staff were very efficient, you could tell they genuinely cared about you. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again. Housekeeping kept the room neat, fresh and tidy, with clean towels and complimentary bottled water, well stocked shower gel and shampoo etc.

Excellent rooms - spacious, with a huge bed. Clean bathroom (would have liked a shower head that can be manoeuvred). Tea tray with biscuits and satellite TV. Really lovely staff - the receptionist helped us to get a taxi back into EIRE. Evening and breakfast food was delicious - served hot and reasonable prices. Excellent selection of goodies in the bathroom. Would definitely return.

The iron may aswell not have been there - it was terrible! Curtains could do with a clear liner so that guests can have privacy without closing the curtains.

Superb staff, welcoming atmosphere , rooms very comfortable and the cost is excellent . Just an excellent hotel to stay in, I was made incredibly welcome, check in to support with anything.. what makes this special is the way the staff go out of their way. Huge kudos to Caroline she is a rare gem. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing in the restaurant, servers, chef, quality 5 stars!. The live music atmosphere again wow 5 stars!! Definitely be back

The location is fantastic, the room is big and comfortable and it's in a perfect place for when you would like to head out and do something. Newry is down the road and there are little shops and an off licence if you want to just nip in and out.

It's hard to point things out that we didn't like but I will say the lady at the restaurant wasn't very pleasant. Don't believe I heard a thank you or a please and seemed very irritated by everything. Other than that the bed was a little big and we dislike 2 mattresses but that's just nit picking. If they were to take that lady off the restaurant front we would rush back.

Lovely comfy big bed with socket beside for my CPAP machine. Spacious roomy room. Excellent service from the staff - our heated towel rail wouldn't work so we phoned down to request assistance. Someone came within 5 minutes, and they called another member of staff who knew how to turn it on. Receptionist was very helpful and advised us where to go for wonderful views. Food in the carvery was delicious and good value. Would definitely stay again if visiting that part of Northern Ireland.

The steep steps from car park to the entrance. No ramp available and I struggled getting my luggage up. The lighting in the room and bathroom was inadequate especially for ladies doing their make up / nightly cleansing routine. The tray with kettle, cups, coffee, etc, was very high up in the wardrobe and my partner who is 5'2" struggled to lift it down. Could do with a few more hangers in the wardrobe - especially the family rooms otherwise only enough for one each. Food service for the evening meal was quite slow as they were very busy.
