Hidden Gem. Quiet, renovated room with classy decor, large full-sized fridge with kitchenette and small coffeemaker for complimentary coffee. Bed was extremely comfortable. Good air conditioner. Location was great! Beautiful scenery and walkable to quaint village-like area, Marina Park etc. Lastly, good internet as well as desk and lamp with USB ports and electric sockets perfect for our purposes.
Room a little cramped and dark. No conventional office or lobby. Check-in by"office" window and further communication available by phone if noone at the window. Not a problem if don't have questions.

Quaint 50’s style motel with original fir wood ceilings. Everything was very clean. ManAger met me for a late (11pm) check-in. 1/2 block to the beach. Comfortable bed, bed tv with cable. It was all basic but worked for me.
Water pressure and shower water was a little tricky. I finally got it hot enough by letting it run for 3 minutes. Room had funky smell of all old motels, buy nothing deal-breaking.

Consistent.. always stay here when I am going to cross the border the next day. it is simple, not complex - easy to walk to restaurants or just walk through the neighborhoods. Owners are always helpful and pleasant.
shampoo and soap dispensers were out of soap - no individual bar soap - which is good (less waste), but need to keep the bulk dispenser full.

Nice location, with peekaboo view of the water. The rooms were nicely renovated, and liked the larger than normal hotel refrigerator. The room was very clean. Good value for the money. Walking distance to many restaurants and downtown Blaine.
Not many amenities- no pool, laundry, soda machine. The bed was comfortable, but quite high to get up on and out of for older people.

The Motel was good for what we needed: a convenient location for a thing we had to take care of. I liked the Analogue check-in. I liked the staff. I liked the room, it was nicely updated. It was very clean. The bed was really comfortable.
Regrettably, the cinderblock walls are not good for blocking noise. We had a particularly loud and obnoxious neighbor. the other neighbor was fairly quiet, but fell asleep to their TV which was on through half the night. It bothered my sleep

The room was nicely updated and comfortable, the front desk clerk was friendly and responsive, the check-in process was easy, it's located in a quiet neighborhood less than a half-mile walk to downtown, and there was even a bit of a water view from my room (105). Very nice all around!
You could hear your next-door neighbors a bit, but not too bad.

We got this place last minute when we went to a concert in Vancouver. The location and the space were great. We plan to go back just to stay there someday and enjoy the town. Definitely recommend especially for families.
We wanted to sleep in and were woken by people walking by our room in the morning.

We did not stay at the Anchor due to a plumbing problem and were quickly and efficiently move to similar lodgings as the Northwest Lodge. It was what I had expected of the Anchor so no problem there.
Our toilet became plugged and when I called the office a woman told me she would bring me a plunger. I relied that "No", someone need to come and plunge the toilet. The woman arrived quickly and plunged our toilet. She then lectured us about napkins in the toilet. We are both in our 70's. Well meaning but a lack of understanding about service.

Everything was clean and tidy! I have a bad back and usually really suffer in hotels, but the mattress was very comfy, especially for a motel! Very friendly staff, easily accommodated an extra night for me with no hassle! Beautiful location—you can wake up to the bay!

The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the fridge!
Shower curtain could use attention, maybe a little spray bleach, as it smelled mildewy.
