They did not provide breakfast, which I knew when booking. They had no pool, but had a weight room. There are no elevators to the second floor, which I said I would never stay at a hotel that doesn't have an elevator. But, for the price, I should have known. Anyway, there was a glitch in trying to cancel. The manager was very accommodating and said he would not charge a fee. But, getting through booking was horrible. So, we changed plans and stayed anyway. As I said there is no breakfast, BUT there is a Quick Trip right across the street and we went there to get a pizza, which they cook for you. They also have a huge variety of other foods. So, we got donuts for breakfast and sandwiches and drinks for the drive home.

It would be nice to have an elevator, but not all hotels offer that. I tried to cancel, as I said. The manager was very nice, but booking was horrible. You do not talk to a person, but AI and that is NOT helpful. So, we changed our plans to stay anyway. My daughter and her girls stayed in another room and said the shower was really bad, squirting a little bit and everywhere. So, we opted not to shower there. They may want to check that.

There was no breakfast other than coffee in the room, but I knew that before I booked. Across the street is the Luxembourg Cafe and a McDonald's, where one can have breakfast. This is a great location just off of Interstate 43 and less than a mile west of wonderful Harrington Beach State Park on Lake Michigan.

The picture of the room and the view match my experience. The room was spacious and had great light. The hotel has a great foyer area - ceiling fans, sofas - and a ground floor gym, free to use for guests. My room on the first floor had two fridges, a micro, a/c, a big tv, everything I could want for a stopover during a road trip. I ended up staying there 3 days because it was comfortable and in a good location to explore the western side of Lake Michigan. The hotel is a straight road - one mile - from Harrington Beach State Park with its lovely walks along the shore. The village of Belgium was very sweet and well off, very safe. There was a Subway and McDonalds and a gas station within feet. Also, the Interstate was a minute away. The lady at reception was very pleasant and always helpful, as was the manager, who allowed me to use reception's desk top to access the hotel's printer. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would return there with no hesitation.

I couldn't give this hotel 10/10 for one reason only - no coffee machine in the room!!!! There was a a hot drinks machine in the foyer, but was $2.50 per drink.

The price,location, ease of check in and check out. Staff was excellent !!! Lobby was clean and smelled fresh!!!

Not sure what smells were going on the second floor. Maybe another guest dinner or something. The smell didn’t get into our room so we were all good. First floor like a said before great smells lol. Maybe need a deep clean on the rooms? Some food(?) stains on the wall my the nightstand.

9 of 10 was due to no breakfast. Other than that, the guy at the counter upgraded me to a suite for no reason and was super accommodating. It was the nicest, most plush hotel bed ive ever slept on and ive been some nice places. The whole building smells wonderful. Theres fish tanks in the lobby! Highly recommend
