Very nice hotel directly at the lake and in the center of Pallanza/Verbania. The staff is great and helpful and the rooms have big beds, which is a huge plus! And on top the hotel is dog friendly, which made our stay wonderful.

The hard spring mattress with no top mattress. Nearby bar (Lago) that on some of the nights played loud music until 2am (not a fault of the hotel though).

Easy late check-in. Due to circumstances we weren't able to check-in on time. The hotel staff called us and provided us the ability to check-in ourselves with the use of a locker. We arrived very late, but had a lovely, big room. Unfortunately no balcony, but magnificent view on the lake. Staff was also very helpful for gluten-free breakfast. We were here only for a lay-over, but would've wanted to stay longer next time to explore the beautiful area more.

Great view from the room over Lago Maggiore and the mountains. Location at the beautiful promenade with magnolias, close to the boat stop and restaurants. Very helpful personnel.

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view or the lake. We had a quiet and peaceful stay.

Maybe some items need to be renewed.

Wonderful stay. Nice view. 4mins walk to the ferry pier for isola madre and isola bella. Very close to Villa Taranto. Lovely staff. They were helpful especially with accomodating our young daughter.

The breakfast was fine but not great.

Breakfast was excellent value for money with a good choice of food. The hotel is very well located along the lakeside in the close to the centre of town and the ferry terminal.

Charming! Very nice classical style hotel, the team is taking care of the historical furniture and building. The room is spacious and beautiful. There is a small bookshelf with literature in different languages if you take a stairs. Breakfast was correct, the view on the lake is fantastic. Everything went very smoothly!

Great location and we were able to find a free parking spot on all days we were there. Great views if you get a room with a lake view (we didn't). The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected.

The listing for our room was a little misleading - it showed a desk in the photos and in the description, but we had a small bureau-style thingy instead (not very comfortable if you plan to do some work in your room) and no armchair as in the photos. The music from a nearby bar was very loud on the weekend - luckily, it all shuts down at midnight so not a big deal for us. Breakfast was served at a cafe about 100 meters away. It was good but not exactly at the hotel so I wouldn't list that as "breakfast available" as it's neither included nor much different than just getting breakfast at any other café.
