The room was nice. It is in an interesting area, near many embassies. There is noise from the road but that is expected given the location. Parking was easy. The breakfast was good and the hostess was very nice.

We arrived a bit later than we had expected. There was a sign on the door with a telephone number to call. Unfortunately my SIM card did not work in Ottawa and I couldn't call it. They had sent e-mail with instructions but we had left early and did not receive it. There were a couple frantic minutes figuring out what to do. Once that was solved everything was fine. I would suggest that the e-mail be sent a day or two ahead.

The room was adequate and comfortable. The staff was attentive and excellent - even trying to get decaffeinated coffee for us. The location was excellent.

We wish the parking could have been clearer- what to do if someone parked us in was not clear. We've stayed at similar places before and they had a key system. We thought we'd share the bathroom with one other room, but it wsa more than that -occasionally resulting in a little wait. The supplies in our room (water/coffee pods) was never replenished.

The room was very spacious. The cleanliness was commendable. The bed was very comfortable. The house is inviting. It is but a little walk from all the necessities.

I can't think of anything major. I might be good to think of ways to prevent the doors from individual rooms from closing loudly. Hardwood floors make the house noisier, but it also is one of the house best features. That's the only thing I can think of. Not a deal breaker at all ;-)

This b&b is amazing! Super clean, cozy, quiet, good breakfast, safe neighbourhood, private parking space and close to great restaurants and shops. And only half an hour scenic walk to the parliament buildings. Or take a bus which stops in front of the b&b. We haven’t seen the the staff but they provided detailed check-in information. And asked us if we were happy during our stay. And yes we were!!

Everything was good.

The location is superb, right beside Ottawa's most beautiful park, Strathcona. The house itself is beautiful with a well-appointed kitchen and carefully renovated interior. Self-serve breakfast was copious, a bonus!

The small flower garden at the front should be tended to, it would add to the charm and neatness, and a mirror in the room should also be installed.

Breakfast was continental style but of very good quality.

My only disappointment as having to share a bathroom,and having to walk down aflight of stairs to use it. On the other hand the bathroom, like the rest of the house, was spotless. I wasn't aware that my room was not 'en suite', but I am the first to admit that may have been my mistake in misreading the description of the property. Nevertheless, my stay was very comfortable.

Mya were extremely helpful when I arrived and needed to accommodate my luggage in the house, before the check-in time. The bedroom was super comfortable: AC and heat systems available, the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean! Also, the breakfast was very complete, with a variety of foods (eggs, fruits, pastries, juice, etc).

The house is beautiful. It is old but has a lot of charm. The communication with the host was very good and she was extremely accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and very close to downtown and Parlament. It is the second time coming here and we will come back

It is not cheap, but everywhere got expensive these days. The price is at the same level with similar accomodation

Location was important on this trip. Location was perfect. The owners are very nice people and made me feel like at home. The facility is extremely clean and comfortable. Very quiet and friendly. Everyting you need to be comfortable. I can not praise thsi B&B enought or the owners either. Recommend this place highly and will stay there again the next time I go to Ottawa. . Wonderful owners and beautiful place. Very very very nice people. Like family,

Nothing. It was perfect. Note it is a Bed and Breakfast. so don't expect it to be a hotel. This is like staying with family or friends when to go to visit them. So don't complain about it not being a hotel like place, it is not suppose to be a hotel. . This family has opened up their home to share it with guests.

Easy self check in and the king room with ensuite was comfortable. Street parking was easy to find. We were surprised to find a continental breakfast offered (as were other guests we met). There is no signage to inform guests about this. There was lots of variety and we appreciated it.

Please provide signage with details on breakfast.
