Unfortunately I was a magnet for mosquitoes and was badly bitten . I would suggest that mosquito repellent is supplied in each room as a freebie just in case of allergic reactions to mosquitoes

The location is next to the beach. The place is quiet.

I wish to have more facilities there (like more restaurant and coffee shops options). Not so many available nearby and you have to walk 7-10 minutes until there, but you can rent a bike from hotel as well.

Our stay at Mimosa was a great finish after our traveling around Thailand. For first two days it felt like we had the whole hotel basically for ourselves. The staff was absolutely briliant, especially Mr. Oh and his crew in the bar - they were very attentive and professional and kind! The location is perfect, with motorbike there are really wide options to go to eat, but the restaurant in the resort provides also very tasty food. We hope to be lucky to back again, our time in Mimosa was really memorable. I would like to thank to the whole team for making our stay very pleasant.

The bathrooms might need a little revamp or upgrade, but as everything was very clean, it doesn’t bother you while you’re staying in the hotel.

amazing super nice staff, a spacious room, nice pool and beach area, great location (served my need as i was attending the near by muay thai school, for other people may be bit remote), clean, pleasant, a proper place to rest. I loved breakfast and again - the super nice staff made the stay

restaurant's menu was kind of an overprized mix of everything, i didnt even try as the prices were high and honestly around there are so many authentic places i didnt even want to bother.. also massages prices are out of the space, considering in the town they are 4 times cheaper - not sure why management thinks it is a good idea to have such prices on food or massages if noone actually using it and restaurant and spa is always empty.

The breakfast & bar by the sea view was amazing, great swimming pool with sunbeds, very friendly and helpful staff, you can borrow beach towels if you go out on a day trip, as well as kayak or paddle boards to use around the hotel. The night lightning of the garden was also really nice. Lot of choices for breakfast. AC and ceiling fan was a great option to have. Very clean overall.

Sometimes very flaky and unstable (low reception) wifi. The bath-tub on the balcony is not practical as the balcony is open and there are no curtains to close. The shower was missing shower-head and had only ceiling mounted rain-type shower head, meaning less practical for women if they dont want to was their hair.

The resort was beautiful and authentic. It is in a very quiet area of the island. We stayed for 11 nights and loved every minute. The pool villa was amazing, the staff were outstanding and the beach resturant did not disappoint. Buffet breakfast was delicious and staff were so friendly and kind. The whole resort staff were amazing. They treated you like family. Koh Samui is a beautiful island with a laid back vibe and the locals are so friendly and happy. It was one of the best holidays we have had and we will be returning again. Thank you Mimosa for everything. You made our Silver Anniversary full of beautiful memories.

absolutely nothing

I am a bit overdue to write this review. I am obliged to the amazing team of the Mimosa Hotel. This is the 4th time I stay here, each time I visit Koh Samui for my workout Bootcamp at FITKOH. It is located next door. I am obliged this time coz I experienced undesirable medical issue. The team at Mimosa, lead by Mrs. Kandice Khin, rushed to the room to rescue me. She swiftly arranged to put me in a car and rushed me to the hospital with the driver (I did not get his name). The hotel team and the staff at Fitkoh ( Elizabeth, Khun Sonal, and Khun Tarn) were there to ensure that I was being attended medically swiftly by hospital staff. Mrs. Kandice stayed with me at the hospital till she ensured that I was recovered. I am in debt to them all, and particularly to her. Thanks everyone and special thanks to Mrs. Kandice Khin. Location relative to the bootcamp FITKOH. The clean and beautiful beach.

Getting old, though the rooms look like they have recently refreshed. Food is average. WIFI is hit and miss.

Definitely the most beautiful sunset view, great mango shake and nice restaurant staff. The location is nice, among the coconut trees. The Jacuzzi in the private yard for each room is extremely nice. The breakfast is quite nice and the pool is small but nice.

The creepy sheep statue in the bathroom The sea tide is too low and you can barely swim in the sea I would really appreciate it if the staff mastered English better. The bed actually a mattress on a sort of concrete stage.

The property was in an incredible location only a short walk away from the beachfront restaurant and the beach. It’s a quiet location but short taxi ride away from busier areas.

The only issue we had but a big issue was the noise from other apartments was really loud. There was 1 night where we could hear the TV perfectly through the walls and then loads of banging and moving of furniture another night. I’m not sure what the resolution would be for this but it’s something to be aware of.

We stayed in a private pool villa which was amazing for the price. The location of the main pool right on the beach along with the staff who went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay meant we loved this hotel. We hired a car for our stay which meant the location was great as near to bars, restaurants and shops. We would absolutely stay here again as had concerns after seeing previously reviews however the resort was spotless and compared to other resorts on the island great value for money.
