Location. The hotel has the ideal location if you want to be near Hagia Sofia and other tourist spots. The staff were also very friendly. I love the fantastic view on the terrace where we had daily breakfast. Most likely, the value of our hotel was determined by its location.

Booking.com should have given more choices for room sizes for those that plan to stay longer. We stayed for 7 days but we had a tiny room. It is not ideal for a couple staying over 3 days. The hotel didn't want to upgrade us either. Breakfast was alright but it is the same every day for 7 days, so it was best to eat something different daily. Maybe they can introduce one new dish each day.

The location is top for all the historical things. It is right behind Topkapi and Hagia Sophia entrance, Blue Mosque is 5 min walking, tram is near and you can go to Galata Bridge Dolmahbahce. Staff is very kind and hard working people. The garden in front of the hotel is a little oasis and they will serve you free tea or coffee. Flowers beautiful with view of Topkapi palace walls. Breakfast is not like we are used in Italy but still it is ok. You will not stay hungry. They will even make fresh fried eggs for you if you ask. Coffee is only filter coffee , Turkish coffee and tea. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and they make up the room every day and change the towels. I really did appreciate that. If I return I will come back to this hotel.

The location was perfect—just steps away from Topkapi Palace. The room was small but very comfortable and had views to the sea, and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was lovely too. But what truly made the stay special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful—so much so that it felt like being with family. Warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. If we return to Istanbul, we’ll definitely come back here.

The hotel is in the city center, very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff was very kind, very helpful and gave us the best information. The breakfast was very good, served on the top floor of the hotel and has an absolutely gorgeous view. The room was a bit small, but that's how all the rooms are in the old hotels of Istanbul.

The location was unrivaled for a short stay in Instanbul to see the key sites in Sultanamet- it is next to the Topaki Palace wall, one block from the entrance gate. (You can see Aga Sophia from there also, and it is just a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and Basilica Cisterns (stunning). The staff could not have been more charming - Rasim in particular- and you can not forget Rambo and the rooftop breakfast room with views over the Bosphorus.

There was nothing that I did not like.

The location was unbelievable, close to most of the old buildings, close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. There was something different and appealing about the hotel’s ambience. The public rooms and my room were rococo; the breakfast was in a beautiful room on the top floor (US), a mix of Western and Turkish specialties presided over by a most helpful and charming man; there were three receptionists, all extremely helpful, ready to do anything for you; other staff so nice also. An author with knowledge of Turkey would find this a perfect place to write mystery novels!

Even though the receptionists helped tremendously helping me charge my electronics, it would have been great if there could be in-room charging capability. Otherwise travelers should bring full-capability charger equipment. In the bathroom it would have been great to have tissues.

The location of the property was excellent. The old city shops were a few minute walk. The Blue Mosque was about 8 minutes walk. Lovely Turkish breakfast served by Rambo, my name for him. He was very knowledgeable when asking questions about different places to see and do. His service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, thank you Rambo. He also gave us a present as it was my partners birthday. The room was also perfect, we had a view of the sea and the old walls. Shower was lovely and hot. Thank you also to the reception staff who gave us ideas of what was good to check out.

Having to come home. We should have booked for longer than 4 days.

The location was superb, very close to the main sights, restaurants and transport. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking airport transfers and recommending places to eat. I also had a wake-up call (a real one, not an automated one) the first morning there after a very late arrival the night before. The room was comfortable and clean. The view from the breakfast room terrace was stunning.

The room was a tad on the small side, but then apart from sleeping I spent very little time there.

The property is very central located. Topkapi, Hagia Sofia and the blue mosque 5 minutes walk. There are many restaurants and shopping around the corner. Where the hotel is positioned it’s nice an quiet. It’s a beautiful small hotel with a nice entree in Turkish style. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds comfortable. From the breakfast area you have a view in the Hagia Sofia Mosque and you can see the Bosporus. The breakfast was Turkish style. We enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly.

Exceptionally well located, clean and welcoming hotel. In the heart of the old city district of Istanbul, the staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are well serviced and clean. The gorgeous views of Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus are stunning. This is my fourth stay at this hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough and many of my family and friends who have stayed absolutely agree!
