I loved the room. The location was perfect. Staff was pleasant but several staff members can not speak english.
The POOL WAS NASTY. You could not see your feet in the pool it was so dirty, and a pile of hair floated up to my mother while she was sitting on the side of the pool. Didn't like also how every single thing was a charge. We had a handicap tag and had to park over on the side. Because vehicles were parked everywhere at the front of the building. And it's almost $20 per day to park. Crazy.

My husband and I LOVED our stay here! I was initially nervous about the cleanliness and my allergies potentially acting up because I didn’t realize before booking that they were pet friendly, (I’m allergic to dogs/cats). Thankfully, I would have never known any pets had ever been in our room! The cleanliness was outstanding! We also loved that there were many walkable places to eat and the staff there were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations! We loved State of Confusion, a restaurant located a short walking distance from the hotel. We also loved the coffee bar located in the lobby (the chai lattes were amazing)! The atmosphere of the hotel was very beautiful, relaxed, warm and cozy allowing for a refreshing getaway. Overall, our entire experience there was a 10/10! We would definitely return. 😊

Everyone was very helpful and nice. The facility and room were beautiful and well-kept. I appreciate the details of the vintage look, but an upscale feel. I had an incident where an article of clothing went missing and I had to ask/follow up with several different employees to look for this item. It wasn't until I was leaving and expressed my unhappiness that it was finally found. I would like to believe it was just an accident, however, it did leave a bad, gut feeling. I would stay here again however, this just has never happened before. I would probably put a do not disturb on my door so that no one comes in to clean during my stay. Parking was kind of a nightmare getting back late in the evening since it shares with paid public parking. There was limited to no availability. The front desk did assist one evening, so I am grateful for that. I was glad that my room was on that side of the parking area, there is an entrance on the side.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the special touches like the art. I really liked the scent of the bathroom products. The robes were a great touch, but I didn't see them until the next morning. Perhaps laying them on the bed or putting them in a more obvious place than the closet so guests could see them.
I booked a room with a bathtub, but my room didn't have a tub. Just a shower. I was charged for two different drinks that I never opened. I had to email the associates to get them off my invoice. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice.

The size, the feel, the comfort. The location was everything and the staff was amazing. One of the staff saw us taking post wedding pics and offered to help us take a few together. The complimentary wine for us getting married was icing on the cake. Loved the view. We had the suite that looked out towards the pool and courtyard which I loved because you see life not just the back of a building or a parking lot. Also, loved that it had 3 separate balcony-like areas with sliding doors that opened up for fresh air. You could stand at the rail or pull up a chair, sit, and sip some wine without leaving the comfort of the room.
Smudgy balcony sliding doors. You could tell kids stayed there previously because it was covered in smudges. Other than that it seemed superbly clean.

The hotel was gorgeous. The room had robes and a cute breakfast nook. Could not hear neighbors. Located minutes away from everything you could want to do. I didn't have to drive far for any attraction. There is a restaurant on-site and pool. There's also a small cafe in the lobby. Parking was simple, there is a fee. I would stay here again! Probably one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. Beautiful property.
The staff weren't friendly-- not rude but don't expect southern hospitality. When showering, housekeeping tried to enter the room twice within 8-10 mins even though I had the deadbolt on.

The train carriage room we stayed in was extremely characterful! Everything inside the room was exquisite and so unique for a hotel stay. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and bathroom was great with antique style brass fittings and small tiles, also a super powerful shower. We were on a one night stay so didn't use the pool, but the pool area looked lovely. The sound proofing in the carriages is excellent. Our carriage was right next to the Caboose bar, relatively near the swimming pool, and there was an event at a function area just the other side of the hotel's property line. We were worried that the music noise at night might be a nuisance, but it wasn't at all.
Although it set the mood, the lighting in the room wasn't very bright. Some better task lighting for reading or doing paperwork would be useful. The carriages for the carriage rooms are aligned as if they are alongside platforms at a station, so the view from the windows is across a 15-20 foot concrete area to another carriage. (Although, the "platform" areas are nicely decorated with little bistro tables and potted plants dotted along the carriages and near their entrances.) In our case one side was actually the restaurant building so the view was of a building wall. Having said that, they are carriages so there's not much more that could be done, but guests should just be aware that it will be curtains closed most of the time with no natural sunlight.

We loved the style and look of the room. It was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. We loved the little bench seating and table in the corner. The adults were able to sit around the table and talk while the kids lounged on the beds. The hotel was located in a great area and we were able to easily walk around to a variety of restaurants. The area around the pool was cute and had this vintage vibe. There was a cute little seating area outside of the restaurant, Elsie’s Daughtet.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We wish we would have stayed for more than just one night!

They had people greeting us as we came in and the hotel just overall had a very clean feeling. The pool was absolutely relaxing, and the shower pressure was 100% on point I felt like a whole new person after using the shower. Checking in and out was a breeze. The bed itself was comfy felt like sleeping on a cloud. It's located in downtown so getting to places was quick and easy. Getting extra towels was super easy and quick as well. For a future longer trip I will 100% be booking again.
One thing I would have liked for the room to have was a microwave maybe it did and I just didn't open the cabinet it was in. This was literally the only thing I didn't like. Everything else was amazing

Cory, at the front door was the absolute BEST! Made our stay so enjoyable. He was extremely helpful - pointing out the hotel amenities and local restaurants/attractions. Always greeted us with a smile and treated us like we were friends. Can't remember the gentleman's name at the door when we checked out today, but he was great, too. Super friendly!
We weren't greeted when we checked in (at the front desk) and were given no info about the hotel (location of any of the amenities) except for where to park and where are room was. The person definitely didn't seem happy to welcome us. Other front desk staff were ok, but less that friendly.
