We really liked everything, especially the hospitality and professionalism of all the service professionals there. The receptionists-Veronica & Dany- were fantastic! They answered our questions, and gave recommendations for local cuisine and street food. They also went out of their way to secure a pulmonia tour the night prior. The location is wonderful for those who like to walk explore the city and have easy nearby access to most tourist sites -Malecon, Plaza Macheo, beaches, art museum-across the street & local shops. For longer routes (Isla de Las Piedras), the Uber/Didi was reliable. There was a restaurant next door to the B&B and plenty of eating options for any budget within walking distance. They also had OXXO store within approx.1000 feet. We had the Deluxe Junior Suite and it had plenty of space for 3 of us. The beds were comfortable, the towels were high quality, and the decor showcased the beauty of Mazatlan culture. The balconies were a wonderful way to relax and see the city. They had a space with a large table and dining room like area for people to read books, to watch TV, play games, and socialize. They had filtered water available which was fantastic as the temps were hot and humid in the afternoon and evenings. My family felt safe the entire time walking around the city and Malecon as many local residents were out late at night socializing and enjoying their families and friends.

We attended during Holy Week, and a lot of people were in the city. The noise level was high at night due to the proximity to the Malecon and restaurants. Several days it leveled off around 10:30-11 pm, and other nights it lasted until 1:00 am. I wore ear plugs and it helped. That really is the only thing. Everything was wonderful and I would stay again.

The room (#7, Carazza) and the facility are beautiful. Vivid colors, painted tiles and art everywhere. Huge walk-in shower. Double sink. Several areas to spend time, including a rooftop patio and a couple balconies, plus an adorable pool/fountain/dining area/patio. In the lobby, there's a large urn a fresh, filtered water with pitchers and cups in the room which was great as we were avoiding drinking tap water. The staff and managers were extremely friendly and eager to help. Most spoke excellent English, and those who did not were patient with our limited Spanish (with some help from Google translate). The location was excellent -- short walk to the Malecón and the beach, la Plaza Machada, many restaurants, museums and and so on.

1. Memory foam mattress was too soft for my taste. 2. Wish there was less noise -- having arrived from the US east coast, the time difference meant we were up way past our bedtime when the live music at the attached restaurant died down. Fortunately we brought ear plugs so not a big deal. 3. To protect the vintage plumbing, they want you to put your used toilet paper in the trash, which...ewwww.

The breakfast was quite tasty and traditional. It added to the overall joy of our Mazatlan experience. The staff in the restaurant and kitchen are kind and hospitable, as are all the employees of this lovely hotel. Alfredo and Vern are wonderful hosts. The hotel is perfectly located for a rich experience of both the beach/malecon and Centro Historico of Mazatlan.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, located in the central historic part of Mazatlan, surrounded with an amazing selection of restaurants, art galleries & shops… very friendly owner & staff .. enjoyed our stay & will definitely return..

Great breakfast, unbeatable location in between Olas Altas beach and Plaza Machado, lots of great restaurants nearby. Relatively quiet for being in a busy area (especially if you get a room facing the courtyard vs the street). Rooms are simple but comfortable and clean and staff was very helpful and kind!

Hotel restaurant Macaws was so so - Recommend eating at one of the many other great spots nearby for lunch/dinner. Light sleepers may have some trouble - opening the windows to get fresh air rather than AC meant street noise and light.

We had a great time at the hotel due to it's awesome location, helpful staff and delicious food and drinks. I'm amazed at the well kept manner of the common areas.

My issues were the bedding sheets were not a clean as I would expect when we arrived. That said, the maid service did come in and changed them to fresh sheets during the middle of the trip.

Casa De Leyendas exceeded our expectations. It's located in the historic center, which is an ideal place to stay if you'd like to experience authentic Mazatlán. The staff is SO kind an accommodating. They have beach towels/umbrellas/chairs to lend you for the beach and the free breakfast is delicious.

Special shot out to Victor, who helped m with anything I needed with a smile on his face! Everything is great here, the rooms, common spaces, breakfast, staff, location in historic area and a few steps to the beach.

Casa do Leyendas is a beautiful and comfortable B&B. The staff is warm, welcoming and efficient. It is in a great location in old town Mazatlán, adjacent to Macayos Restaurant, across from two museums and a half block away from the beach.

Breakfast is good, but minimalistic. It is served in the beautiful central courtyard, but food items like orange juice or bacon cost extra.

I have stayed here many times. The staff is always terrific. The hotel is charming. The breakfast was yummy. The old downtown location is great.

I couldn't seem to get any hot water in the shower, but I didn't ask for help either, so it could have been my fault.
