Although our stay was short and we’re out most of the time we found the staff and facilities to be perfect! Our room was lovely and clean as was the hotel itself. We dined out in the town for dinner but had a lovely breakfast the following morning which had plenty of choice on the menu! We paid €7 for overnight parking which if you’re from Dublin is extremely reasonable! The car park was one road over which a lane we could cut through
We had no complaints about our stay! We got given notice a few days before of extra events on in the city which was helpful to be aware of traffic / parking wise

The staff was friendly, it was our honeymoon and we found petals, chocolates, swans and a lovely note on our bed from the staff! The location is great for everything. The bed was very comfortable and there was a fan in the closet!! We really appreciated that! We could watch the parade from our window that opened!
Nothing the hotel could do better but just an FYI. Because it is close to the train station we were unable to get a taxi, even though we had lots of large and heavy luggage. Luckily the weather was nice and the rollers worked on a couple of them.

Lovely, colonial style interior. Great location and staff were friendly and helpful. Great selection for breakfast too.
Parking was a few mins walk away.

The breakfast was great. Many choices. It was very crowded as there was at least one CIE tour there but we still had great service. The waiter John was always terrific. We love their restaurant Hannigans. The location is perfect. We have stayed here a few times before and can't wait to return. Their rooms they have on the library are great places to catch a catnap! Very comfortable couches and chairs and very relaxing.
When it is very crowded sometimes you have to take the stairs unless you want to wait for the elevator. This really isn't a problem as we love the hotel that much.

Central location, great atmosphere.
The breakfast was disappointed , both service and food. For a four star hotel, I believe you can do better. I won’t say the two waitresses who served us were rude, but not very nice or patient. I don’t think she really listened what I ordered, because there was food short on the plate. The food quality was also poor. Bacon was very dry, everything else was so little. Sausages were tiny like small fingers, egg was not a full egg, half of the egg white was missing, fried mushroom was dry and small. I had to ask 3 times toasted bread because each time the waitress only brought 3 half pieces for us, for two adults like. I am sorry to say, compared to any hotel and B&B I have stayed, this breakfast is the worst.

How friendly the staff are from any of the areas in the hotel. I got a call to say they had overbooked and would I be willing to take two single rooms, as they had no twins left. It would have been nice to have had a room with my sister as she was visiting me, but seeing as it was only one night we didn't mind. They also gave us brunch thrown in for accepting. ( And it was lovely) Ideally situated and the meal in the evening with cocktails was excellent 👌 We had coffee on the upper terrace in the morning, the lovely guy who opened it up for us was so friendly and just offered to take our photo and I think he was so used to it they came out great. Then later after a walk had brunch. I would highly recommend this hotel even just for the friendly staff, it is kept immaculate. I will definitely return.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but it's amazing how many parents let their children run around hotels and along the corridors in the day and evening. Times have changed since my day.

Hotel is beautiful in a central location. I had a lovely warm and professional welcome from Siobhan on arrival after a long journey.
Food and dining options - Food was ok with limited breakfast options and lukewarm coffee. Hannigans bar (served in dining room only but I would have preferred to eat in the bar) roast beef dinner was ok but chicken curry the following evening was disgustingly thrown together with congealed sauce which turned me off. My pricey glass of Pinot Grigio was slightly warm - I like my white wine cold!

The staff were phenomenal, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. The value for money with the room was exceptional and the bathroom facilities were second to none.
Although we arrived for breakfast at a busy time, the service for food was a little slow we waited a bit longer than I would have liked for our food which was a bit average, however the staff themselves were spectacular outside of this

Hotel very central. You're actually in Killarney town and location exceptional for outside dining and several coffee shops right in front of hotel. Railway station in Killarney just 5 min walk from hotel if travelling by train
Hotel has no designated specific parking but was able to find car park close by for 3 euro for 24hrs. Breakfast is table service for food but can get variety of juices and water oneself. Would advise going out for breakfast as fabulous choises closeby.

Loved hannigans. Seemed like a right "local pub" in a hotel. I also loved how the breakfast was served as table service, not many places do that anymore...it was classy and sophisticated
Just that there is no parking, but we were aware of that when booking. Killarney is a busy town, so when we moved the car on our second day. We found it hard to find a car park space again.
