Lovely Homestay in basic but comfortable bamboo cabin. Little heaven in a rural area off the beaten track. The hosts were great and looked very well after us. They thought of all the little details to make our stay comfortable and went to the extend to picking us up and bringing us back to the bus stop, making sure we went on the right local bus and talked to the driver to avoid any language confusion. Helped us order grab delivery for dinner. We had a great time, it’s rural so there were bugs but the hosts had a moskitos net and brought us so repellent - the surrounding is lovely. We went for a walk and the neighbour stopped us to gift us a papaya. Such a great stay, highly recommend.

It's in the middle of nowhere, exactly what I was looking for. Super relaxed vibe in nice huts. Everything was clean, fresh towels every day. Breakfast was plenty and different each day, tho not as healthy as I hoped for. But I was also the only guest. You can take walks / hikes in the area, tho there are no official trails.

I was happy. Just make sure to bring something for dinner or go into town (saturdays they have a huge walking street).

Awesome stay for one night to break up the trip between Chiang Mai and Chiang Pai (highly recommend heading over the 1150 highway for a peaceful journey back to Chiang Mai). Cute bungalow, super clean and cozy with a gorgeous view of the surrounding farm land. Definitely good to have your own transport to this spot but not to be missed if you’re looking for a rural getaway!

1) Serenity of the place 2) Unimaginable level of kindness and helpfulness of the host! 3) Plentiful, delicious and fresh homegrown hydroponic salads every morning. The owner and her daughter went extra miles to help us. For example, they drove us from the bus stop to the homestay and drove us to catch our bus on return. On departure, the owner even waited with us until our bus arrived to tell the driver in their local language where to drop us off. No car? No fear! Fly to Chiang Rai airport. Taxi to Chiang Rai bus depot (about 150 Bahts). Local bus to Wiang Pa Pao (not more than 100 Bahts) and tell the driver you want to get off at Wiang Pa Pao OTOP stop. (Best to ask the homestay how to get there for up-to-date information.) Currently, US $1 gets about 32 Thai Baths.

Very peaceful. Although no evening meal available the owner had some food delivered which was very nice. Al lovely overnight stay.

that was our second time at the property, the owner upgraded us to a better room!! she gave us a spare pillow, towels and some more water. it’s a perfect location on the way/ from Chiang Rai for those who doesn’t want to drive the whole way the same day. great view!

the showers needs some update, or maybe curtain. but that’s really just a tiny thing.

The location is great, with a view. nice clean rooms, with everything you need. nice breakfast served by the host. she gave us another pill and towel. everything was great.

at the night was cold, we’ve tried to turn on the airco (heat) and it didn’t work. we realized it’s only cooling.

Extremely nice generous hosts, very good facilities. Great view of hills and farmland. Very clean nice accommodation with air con. And an amazing breakfast included Thank you 🙏
