Breakfast of full English and cooked fresh. None of those awful experiences where they keep food warm under a lamp for an hour. Full choice of cereals, juices, yogurts. Tea-coffee on tap also. Fresh fruit…..You couldn’t ask for more as a start for the day. Double bed was very comfy. Picture on booking dot com shows a superior room bed that is three pillows wide. Ours was just a normal sized bed so you may need to check on that.

We stayed in a superior room. I was quite surprised the superior rooms seemed to be in the basement. Therefore there was only a small window which looked out at grass level. Outside the window were quite a lot of cigarette ends which had clearly been there for a while. It would be obvious to any person cleaning the window they were there but hadn’t been picked up. The room had a jacuzzi bath but we didn’t use it. Looked like it had seen better days and had a few Polyfiller repairs.

Excellent value for money. On site parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable and well equipped room ( useful to have an iron and board. Lovely breakfast. Good location.

Maybe a little bit more attention to cleaning low down ( skirting board, floor in the corners of the bathroom and around the outside of the shower. )Fresh pastries rather than in packets would be nicer. It’s worth reminding guests that if they use the car park, be mindful that there are two rows for parking and you can get boxed in and unable to get out again in the evening. These are really minor points and they would not put me off staying again. We had a lovely stay.

When you read these reviews ..you do wonder if it’s true. The hotel reviews are spot on …. 👍 Firstly. A quick response to my email about parking Really it’s no issues . Plenty of space on the road . The reception. ..were friendly informative ..and welcoming …… The room. Was spotless ……all the eq worked ..showers brill …..tea coffee tv etc The bed …mega massive …room for three ha ha The breakfast ladies ,..are just nice The breakfeast ….I love my eggs .. Poached ..if I can get them Rigth …….. Belive me …there were perfect I’ve lived in the Marriott for two yrs Monday to Friday … This grub is of a good quality ..bacon, sausage… eggs ..all local There’s plenty of variety V good coffee machine Cereal for breakfeast ..and pan o chocolate croissant ….that’s if you can get them before the contractors do Only joking but the lads do like thier scoff . From the moment we arrived at this charming, family-run hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. "Lovely" doesn't even begin to cover it – it felt more like stepping into a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and a suggestion. Our spacious room was a welcome sight, with a bed so comfortable I almost considered packing it in my suitcase! All the essentials were there, from a kettle for that much-needed cuppa to fluffy towels and ample wardrobe space. Freeview TV and Wi-Fi were the cherries on top. Breakfast was a real highlight. Forget those lukewarm buffets – here, you can start with a selection of cereals and a fancy coffee from the machine, before the friendly staff take your order for a freshly cooked breakfast. And what a menu! It was a feast for the eyes, with so many delicious options, even catering brilliantly for vegetarians and vegans. I was spoilt for choice! The location is perfect too. Check-out was a breeze at 11am, and the hotel even let me leave my car while I explored Shipley town centre, just a short five-minute stroll down the hill. Honestly, this hotel is a gem. I can't recommend it highly enough – it's the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay

Dispite reading the good reviews prior to booking at the last minute I was still very pleasantly surprised :) Large room with spa bath. Lovely & warm, large tv with Netflix etc. Decent enough wifi to work by. Even though the room was on the 'lower floor' not a hint of damp - smell or feel ( unlike another large chain hotel previously stayed at). Small bar - decent prices. Friendly staff, when requested an additional duvet it arrived in less than 5 mins - bed too hard for me - my problem, not the bed, it was fine for y partner Very nice breakfast. A very great advantage for me as I work remotely & normal checkout times can make working from my car a necessity. Here I had a late checkout til 5pm - absolutely brilliant. I guess availability for this would depend on how busy they are. Would most definitely stay here again!

Due to the location of the hotel - check google maps first! Parking is ok for cars, could be tricky if had to leave whilst hotel still busy as parking is nose to tail. Partner has a long wheel base van so the carpark wasn't viable for him but he parked for free directly outside on the road - check the parking times! Only works if arrive from 4pm onwards & leave earlish in the morning

Room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy. Shower was excellent. Staff were lovely and the hotel was in a great location.

It was quite warm in the room but the hotel had put a very good fan in the room that did its job and helped cool us down and sleep well. breakfast was ok. Quality of the food was good but it was not very hot for my liking, It was luke warm at best. Only one sausage as well provided. No black pudding or hash brown. I asked for a poached egg and this was cooked perfectly.

The majority of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The location was good and the car parking at the back of the hotel, was a bonus. Breakfast used local ingredients and was well prepared.

The property was once, I am guessing, a budget chain hotel and the furniture remains, which is dark and a bit shabby. The shower has been converted to a wetroom but you can’t just take out the shower tray and tile the floor. You then have a wet room, rather than a wetroom. The price was also a bit high really, especially for one person who was then charged an extra £15 for the dog. There should be discretion in this because there was one breakfast not two and only one set of towels to be washed.

My single room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine. I have only 2 complaints. The bathroom smelt odd (but was otherwise fine with a good shower). And there's an unecessary saftey light that stays on all night so you can't get a properly dark room. I've stayed in many hotels and never encountered this before so I'm pretty sure it is not a requirement. But I'd still recommend this hotel, especially for a single traveller. I felt very safe and comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good for visiting Saltaire, being about 10 minutes walk. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts, freshly cooked, unlike what you get in larger hotels.

My only complaint was that it was very warm in the bedroom. The radiator was off, yet it was very warm, and this was winter. It was quite mild outside, around 12C in the daytime. We opened the window when we got up and wished we’d done the same during the night. I wonder how warm it is in the summer 🤔

The staff couldn't have been friendlier, or more helpful. Everything was clean, the shower was great, and breakfast was amazing using local proper farm produce. Nothing was too much trouble and many extra things had been thought of. I was able to book a single room, at an appropriately lower price, which is becoming increasingly rare. Definitely recommend.

The parking was a little tight, but included, so not complaining. The building is obviously several properties linked to make the hotel, so stairs steeper than purpose built hotels and layout quirky but given value of room......
