We didn’t actually get to stay because of a mess booking the last remaining room via booking. com and a contemporaneous walk-in booking. Despite online confirmation from booking.com that we had secured the room the walk-ins got it by being there in person. Grrrrr - the property and the proprietor were really charming The proprietor was very apologetic and at her expense had booked us alternative accommodation and breakfast at a more expensive local hotel (only about 3 miles away). The alternative (The Landing at Biggin Hill) met our needs perfectly so all was well that ended well 😊

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were exceptional, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, and we left both mornings full and happy. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean. Parking was ample and close to our room. The courtyard area was great, as was our little outside seating area, which gave off a wonderful Mediterranean feel. The restaurant, pub, post office, duck pond, and children's playground are all charming local additions. Being able to help ourselves to bottled water was appreciated.

We received an amazing welcome from Clarissa. As new owner she is doing an incredible job of re-establishing the business. As well as explaining the set up, Clarissa stayed and chatted to us - it was like meeting a new friend. The room was spacious, well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, high quality food, exceptional service, and my son was made to feel special with a mini full English. I highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights for its excellent accommodation and great location.

We felt so looked after, lovely room in a beautiful village, with lovely walks around the area and perfect for getting to the wedding venue we had visited for. Breakfast was wonderful, yogurt, crossiants and cereal and then a lovely full english with amazing sausages, plenty of parking and rooms were bright and cheerful. Fresh milk provided for teas and coffees as well which was a lovely touch. Easy to get in and out at later hours as well - a really nice Bnb.

Sophie

Very nice friendly staff /owners , and greeted with a bottle of fizz which was a nice touch ! The bedroom was very nice and clean , bathroom excellent and a stand alone cubical shower much better than the usual dreaded shower curtain over bath ! Bed could have been harder for my likening , unfortunately there is not a lft to rooms and the stairs are steep ,but can thoroughly recommend the bakery !!
