We found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. Breakfast was very good between the buffet and made-to-order options. We also really liked how they handled drop off at the hotel. Since it's in a car-free area, they directed our cab to the closest point we could drive to. Then, staff from the hotel met us at the cab, took our bags, and guided us to the hotel. Well done!

We were not aware that the hotel had 2 different buildings that were a few minutes walk away from each other. Our group had reserved a total of 3 rooms but we were surprised to find ourselves in two different buildings and unable to meet in the breakfast room to plan our days together as is our custom.

Great location! Easy access to the ferries, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. A lot of options and very clean. Our bed was comfortable, room was clean, cool & inviting. Traveled w/my spouse & would definitely return.

When we arrived, the door was locked & no one answered. We tried calling, but no answer. We decided to knock louder, someone answered & let us know we were at the incorrect location & walked us to the correct location. We booked the annex location, but google maps took us to the other location. Just be mindful of this if using google maps......

The location of this hotel is fabulous - right in the heart of split on quaint side streets. We stayed in the two different buildings they had - our kids in one building and us in the other. When they realized we were in different buildings they offered to correct it but we got to see both. The junior suite is luxurious and spacious. The double room in the older building (older Roman walls) was so comfortable and stylish. This property has done an incredible job making a very modern, comfortable hotel while protecting the old structures and old world charm. The staff is beyond friendly. We parked in the nearby garage and one gentleman carried our belongings all the way to the property while chatting the whole way. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was also unique and delicious.

Perfect place to stay right in the centre of Split's old town (and inside the area of what was Diocletians Palace) - yet whilst busy nearby, absolutely quiet inside. It is an oasis of peace in fact, a small compact hotel with perfect facilities: our room was ideally sized, extremely comfortable, great shower. Great breakfast each morning. Coffee and plenty of snacks etc free to have at any time of day. But all these would be nothing if it wasn't for the wonderful care & attention provided to us by hotel staff. You made our stay special, thank you! And consider extending your stay, Split is a lovely city and this hotel is the perfect place to base yourself in to enjoy it. Our second time and we're coming back!

We were very impressed with the staff. They were all very friendly and super helpful. We received detailed directions on how to get to the parking garage and were met at the parking garage by one of the staff to help guide us in. The staff member even carried my luggage to the hotel from the parking garage. A staff member also accompanied us back to the parking garage after check out. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee and a small fridge where you could purchase extra drinks and such. The free breakfast was delicious and went beyond our expectations. We also appreciated all the recommendations the staff made as far as restaurants and sights to see.

Nothing. Everything met our expectations. It was a very clean, comfortable place to stay.

The complimentary shuttle from the ferry was AWESOME. We were being pummeled by a storm and needed to be driven to the hotel. Also loved the history of the place and ample space.

A few snacks and drinks in the room would have been so great after our crazy ferry journey. There is no minibar or a restaurant in the building so you have to venture out for a coke. Also there isn't a full time person on the property, which makes it complicated to get questions answered.

Wow - what a special boutique hotel. Room was large (upstairs walk-up - we were on top floor), view of small enclosed garden, large bathroom even. So well-appointed. Comfy bed and in-room tea available. Best part was the breakfast- made to order - with other amenities in their little nook, plus a little enclosed garden. We had an exceptional breakfast, amazingly friendly staff (recommend if coming from airport that you book through them for a pick-up - as it is reasonable and they can help you find the place - which you have to walk to from outside the walls). Wish I could have stayed another night - it was one of my favorite hotel experiences in ages.

The hotel is exceptional. The room in the annexe was large and beautifully furnished with rooftop views . Even on a busy Friday evening, it was quiet and peaceful in our room. . The staff were all amazing - helpful and kind, meeting us to bring us to the hotel, recommending super restaurants, giving us directions and always very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was high quality with plenty of choice and cooked options prepared to order. The hotel location could not have been better - central to all the main old town sights.

Great location. The hotel is located inside the walls of the Diocletian's Palace. Good sized room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good communication. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage do ask the hotel to come and meet your taxi or Uber. Cars cannot get into the Palace area. The hotel is very happy to come and meet you. They very kindly helped us get all of our luggage to the ferry port.

Breakfast was very good but not up with the best we had on our trip. Breakfast area is a little cramp if the guests from all 3 rooms arrive at the same time. Nothing much the hotel can do about this as space is at a premium in the old town. Lady serving breakfast was lovely. Hotel was expensive but we found all hotels in major cities of Croatia to be expensive - even in May - especially if you want to stay in the centre of town.

This Villa Hotel was the most gorgeous accommodation. The room was absolutely beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Excellent communication throughout. The staff were so happy and helpful with lots of recommendations of activities and dining options. Parking was available through the villa, and I would recommend this option. Breakfast was amazing. A big shout out to Zoran who helped us collect our bags and the great conversation! A definite must stay location in the heart of Split!
