absolutely everything !! this place is hands down the best place I’ve stayed in so far in lamai. The bungalow itself is very cute and clean with a cute terrace and table right in front. the water in the shower can be hot if you like and the bed is comfortable ! you can tell that the staff takes great care in making sure the place is completely spotless. My favorite part about staying here was the staff. Ghada and her husband Yves are both lovely people, who truly want their guests to feel at home. Ghada very generously upgraded me to a room with an AC when I first arrived. She also took a good hour to explain to me where to visit not just on the island but in Thailand in general. These are just a couple of the many generous things the host offered during my stay. she is a genuine sweetheart! The vibe at this place is so nice and chill, you just feel good when you’re there! the restaurant is great as well - reasonably priced with delicious authentic Thai food. I only stayed one day and really wish I could have stayed longer! I’m currently in New Hut and it’s terrible compared to Green Canyon. This place literally ticks all the boxes (cleanliness, friendly staff, great location, great food, etc). you’re not even a two minute walk from the beach and lots of great beach bars / cafes. Trust me, you will definitely not regret coming here! :)

absolutely nothing!! For me this place was perfect.

Garda was an amazing hostess, nothing was too much trouble at any time. Freely gave lots of useful advice and information during my short, but very memorable stay here. She helped me with transport too. Make sure you let her help you with trips too. The resort is comfortably small and peaceful, minutes from the fabulous beach and a short walk from the centre. My room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs, and I loved the quirkiness of the bungalow. I slept like a baby at night, so.peaceful. It was excellent value for money and just what I needed. This is no reflection on the resort at all. I had two fans in my room, which managed to keep me cool at night, and the use of earplugs helped to blot out the noise. But it was extremely hot and I might have chosen a room with A/C in preference.

I stayed for 2 weeks in a bungalow on stilts with 2 fans.. It was simply wonderful.. from sitting up on my veranda listening to all the jungle bird sounds to watching the giant butterflies wafting past it was brilliant! The staff are super friendly and the owners Garda and JJ went out of their way to help and assist with everything from hiring a scooter to medical care after getting something in my eye (wear glasses on ya scooter) Recommend highly, and would visit again!!

There's nothing not to like, but its a jungle garden so pack your mozzie spray!

It was so peaceful & quiet. Beautiful gardens. Lovely pool. Very close to the beach & also main road full of shops & restaurants. Everything you need close by but still very quiet. The food at the onsite restaurant was incredible - some of the best I had in 3 months in Thailand 😋 The owners & family were so accommodating, kind & friendly. Loved the dogs & cats. So cute & friendly. The room was so cosy. Very comfy bed. It was the perfect 5 day stay for the end of my 3 month trip to Thailand & I cannot wait to return!

The location is wonderful. The garden is well attended to and it is quiet. The bungalows are about 4 mins away from Lamai beach. There is a small pool and chairs and a restaurant. I didn’t use these facilities. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owners are kind and chatty.

It’s down to me -no the property -I didn’t check the size of the standard bungalow and there was no space for a yoga mat to give an idea. This is my lack of reading the description. The only other comment would be the towels - after they get a little wet they start to smell. I guess it’s normal in humid conditions but no so nice after the shower.

This resort is a peaceful oasis in a beautiful tropical setting. It is meticulously maintained. Great care is given to assure that visitors are happy and that the owners high standards are met in both the lodging and the restaurant. The food is exceptionally good and is served in a lovely open air setting looking out on the beautiful gardens. I felt warmly welcomed and was treated with great personal care. I give my highest recommendation.

It’s great value for money and the place is exceptional. Nice and calming atmosphere, typical Thai bungalows, beautiful and extremely well maintained garden with pool. The resort is family run and the owners are extremely polite and professional and very supportive. They are very passionate about their job and they always make sure that their staff can meet clients expectations. As soon as we walked through the gate of this property we were Welcomed by a truly amazing host. She paid special attention to our needs and was helpful and genuine her dedication to her guests is demonstrated in the beautiful property and its amenities. This property is in a very ideal location close to the beautiful beach and Nightlife (A bit of a walk or very short Songthaew ride) yet far enough that it’s secluded it is very private and quiet the beautiful foliage jungle atmosphere gave us the all privacy we needed. Beautiful pool and Lounge area to Sun. They have a cozy little Restaurant and Bar with very tasty Thai food The bungalow was very comfortable and the climate control in the room was perfect we felt at home! This is an excellent place to stay if you don’t want to be in the middle of the party but still want to be near it and if you want to be treated like a welcomed guest I would highly recommend Green Canyon!!!!! THANK YOU GHADA AND GREEN CANYON RESORT FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO SPECIAL AND TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF US!!!

A beautiful location off the main highway amongst the trees. The bungalows are all well situated amongst the trees and each has its own balcony with table and chairs and a drying rail. The facilities were very clean and tidy and we really enjoyed having a bar on site. The owners were extremeley attentative and with a few people in the bar or playing boules each evening it had a very friendly cosy feel to the place. Breakfast is available each morning from 0800 to 0930. We ate breakfast every day apart from once. At 200 baht for bacon and eggs, 2 x toast, croissant, coffee and orange juice it represented good value for money and what a lovely peaceful setting to breakfast anyway. The owners were especailly helpful with arranging things for us with others at a good price. For instance they asked if we wanted to get a private taxi from the airport, which we did. It was cheaper than a grab would have been and the driver was waiting for us at arrivals, which made it painless especially as the plane was 45 minutes late. They also arranged for a scooter for us at 200 baht per day and it was delivered whilst we ate breakfast. Because it was a local company they work with we did not have to give a deposit or any other suriety. Finally, they recommended a travel company to use for a transfer from Koh Samui to Koh Lanta. Again this was done very professionaly and we only paid the going rate.

The internet was a little shaky at times.

Ghada and Yves were fantastic hosts. Our bungalow was spotlessly clean, with cleaning daily and fresh towels daily also. The air conditioning in the room worked really well. Both dogs on site owned by the owners, are just adorable, very sweet and also gave us such a warm welcome. Fantastic proximity to the beach to lovely restaurants and also Green Canyon provide delicious Thai food on site. Pool is just bliss also, with beds and pool towels provided. Overall would highly recommend and really hope to return next year at some point! Thanks to all!
