We had a very pleasant stay in a great location. Walking distance to the main beaches, restaurants, and the village. The staff were friendly and helpful, even assisting with reconnecting our trailer at checkout. Communication with the host was excellent. There was ample parking for both our vehicle and trailer. The unit was spotless and cleaned daily. It was well-furnished, comfortable, and had a spacious bathroom. Although we didn’t use it, there was a clean kettle braai, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a nice patio area.

It was tricky to regulate the shower temperature. While the mattress was super comfortable, the linen and pillows felt a bit basic and not the same quality.

Lovely service from Don and his managers Alex and Senzo. They really looked after us and our every need. Views from our place in the mornings were breathtaking with the sea view The cherry on top were his two beautiful girls, Holly the german shepard and Buttercup, the lab. We will definitely be back to stay there again soon. Thank you, Don, for welcoming us to stay in your beautiful place.

Property was largely as advertised with a slight sea view but beach in close proximity. Overall was reasonably comfortable. Room was serviced daily and had all the amenities required for a beach holiday. Access in and out was good and the instructions received in order to get the keys on arrival were clear and accurate. The dogs on the property were very friendly and always made us feel at home when we were at the apartment. We did meet the gentleman responsible for the cleaning of the unit. We found him friendly and pleasant and he kept the unit well looked after at all times.

Unfortunately never met our host for the entire duration of our stay. The apartment as others have reviewed perhaps a bit tired and dated. Were a few small issues with the apartment. Firstly was no ice trays in the freezer. We bought two and left those for future guests. The bed was sufficient but not overly comfortable. Foam pillows not particularly likeable. Other than that the room was a bit dark in bedroom / bathroom side of the apartment and some lights needed replacement.

My pet hate in any accommodation is when there is nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom balancing your toiletries on the edge of the basin never works and throwing your clothing onto the floor is no fun No Such Problem here !!!! So that alone won me over. At 78 I am fully qualified to call myself a grumpy old man and searched unsuccessfully for something to complain about. Any host who says "we've got dogs"! If you don't like it, take a hike, is good enough for me My SASSA was well spent (Joking)

What's not to like!

Home away from home with a beautiful sea view, comfortable, private & well-equipped unit, gorgeous dogs & a welcoming & responsive host & staff. Don was so accommodating & friendly but not intrusive & the furkids are well-trained - they keep you company but don't beg or bark all the time. Quick & easy check-in & out with the beach just a few 100 metres down the hill. Unit has everything you need & gas stove & gas geyser so loadshedding would've been no problem. We had the most awesome champagne breakfast braai & were very sad to have to leave but we will definitely be back! Thank you Don, Alex, Holly & Buttercup

We enjoyed everything about the place. WIFI in South Africa is very in general is not great, for our business we need at least 500mbps down and 200mbps up. this is one requirement for our work. However we will still return when we are in the area again either for business or just a weekend away

I suggest getting Fibre, I have done a lot of research and in the long run it is better. I do have a preferred company simply because I cant have down time like we got with WIFI. This is a suggestion not a dislike.......

Zur See is a lovely spot for a short stay. We stayed in the Rembrandt room which was very comfortable. The fact that we were not affected by the load shedding was an absolute blessing. We will definitely stay there again!

No complaints, but just a suggestion: Maybe a door hook for the entrance door as we are not big fans of air conditioning. Also a mirror near a plug for a hairdryer would be awesome.

Easy and simple stay. No fuss with regards to the check in and check out procedures. Room was great for a 1 night stay.

Frame of sliding door to room was poorly installed. Easy for a criminal to just get in which is a worry even if you lock sliding door the screws were not holding the frame properly. Otherwise very safe location and cameras all round. Would stay again.

I liked the privacy. I liked that i could book in early upon request and the keys i could collect from a box and not a human. I liked that the room is a 300m walk from the beach. Noting the walk is on a big hill but that is what you would expect.

I was expecting my dishes to be done, especially that i was staying for 7 nights. I was hoping for more than one blanket, they could of provided a nice blanket for the coach. I was hoping the logins for Spotify and other facilities would be available and not require my own.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the corner apartment was private and easy to access. I loved the working aircon, especially during the hot days. As a bonus, there was working internet and an active Netflix account for rainy days.

There was no obvious place to wash my dishes. Other than that it was a very pleased experience.
