This is an exceptional home. Having lived and stayed in many properties over the years in SA few can compare to the beauty, elegance and charm of Our Hermanus B&B. If you are looking for a peaceful, luxury stay in a little piece of heaven, this is it. Leigh is a wonderful host who’s profession as a decorator of outstanding homes can be felt in every corner of her home. Leigh’s breakfasts are superb, the staff are lovely and the location enables you to walk into town or onto the cliff walk, but you are quietly tucked away.

Our Hermanus bed and breakfast is a beautiful outstanding place to stay. I have written over 2,000 reviews for TripAdvisor and can honestly say that this bed and breakfast is the most beautiful, exceptional, outstanding place my wife and I have ever enjoyed. I cannot praise the place too highly! Located within a few minutes walk of Hermanus town centre on a quiet road the house looks unassuming from the outside. (Easy free parking on the street) but inside the place is wonderful in every aspect. My pictures show just how beautiful the internal and external decor is. There is a relatively large swimming pool but instead of having sun loungers there are sofas to lie upon! The lounge area is a beautiful library, the dining area is light and airy, and the breakfasts were simply outstanding. My wife would recommend the fruit platter, personally I succumbed to the excellent pancakes! Our bedroom had a huge king size double bed with comfortable pillows. There was good wardrobe space, excellent wi-fi, a flat screen TV, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities together with biscuits and nibbles, an outside garden area private to our room and an inside patio also private to our room. The bathroom had a shower wash basin and toilet. Leigh also provided a laundry service to us for just a few pound sterling.at The style of the room was beautiful. The owner, Leigh, used to be an interior designer – and it shows. As if all this wasn't enough Leigh provides free chilled white wine during the afternoon as you lounge around the pool and together with her amazing assistant, Steven, provides for all your needs. We felt that we were sharing her house and yet it was free and easy! I don't normally write reviews which are so gushing, but this place absolutely deserves it. We paid £292 for a three night stay and my advice to anybody reading this review is to book early to avoid any disappointment.

This is a quite stunning property and one we would rush back to stay in again. It is like a little oasis in the centre of town. Leigh, our host was so friendly and helpful, as too were her staff - nothing was too much. Wonderful pool area with gardens and a patio and so secluded from the hustle and bustle just a few yards away on the streets of Hermanus. The rooms in the property have so many incredible artefacts, paintings and bits and bobs. To sum up in one word - WOW!

Absolutely nothing. It was a perfect 3 day stay

The property is beautiful. There are multiple well-appointed common spaces. The swimming pool was well-kept. The morning breakfast was terrific. The host and her staff were very helpful. Great location with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We did not have a car.

The property was in an fantastic location close to the town for shops and restaurants. The breakfast was the very best breakfast that I have ever had in a guest house. The rooms where tastefully done and all the little things like fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits and chocolate where a bonus. The owner and staff where all very welcoming.

I whish I had been able to stop longer. This place is a real gem.

4 bedroom boutique B& B owned & very well run by Leigh supported by Stephen & Webster. The property is very well furnished and decorated with a superb swimming pool. Nice touches were the superb breakfasts, complimentary early evening wine & laundry service. Dined at The Rock by the New Harbour which was superb and La Pentola and Chard nearby were good too. Visited Kleinmond Beach with a nice lunch place called Sandown Blues.

Fantastic 5 star beautiful property ( close to town centre - short walk ) with top quality facilities and attention to detail second to none. Great well equipped rooms with large very comfortable beds. Beautiful pool area and gardens. You will not find better hosts than Leigh and her staff . We will be back soon !!

Nothing to dislike about this fantastic property

This is the second time that we’ve stayed at Leigh’s property having had such an enjoyable stay on the first occasion. The location is excellent within a short walk of shops, restaurants and the coastal footpath. Leigh is the perfect host of what is a stylish and very comfortable b&b. Highly recommended.

Leigh and her team provided the most welcoming and attentive service. Her house is exceptional, and it felt a privilege to be able to stay there. Amazing breakfast, beautiful pool area with very comfortable sunlongers and only a short stroll to town. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Absolutely superb property , beautifully decorated, exquisite furnishings, Leigh has a very good eye fir every thing right down to the sink plug , our room amazing with the biggest bed I have ever seen , we can not fault our stay here we have felt really at home and nothing has been too much trouble from leigh and her staff , we will definitely be back.
