This is one of those places that you leave knowing you will be coming back. The location was absolutely perfect. The redwoods were stunning. We were able to enjoy the resort as well as the surrounding areas. We arrived late in the night and they were so accommodating. Billy, the owner, was honestly my favorite part of this whole place. She truly made my sister, daughters and myself feel so comfortable and right at home. She was the sweetest. Her generous and pleasant personality was good for the soul. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our road trip to the chandelier tree!
That I didn’t stay longer!

Adorable bungalow under the redwoods with a small kitchenette. The grounds are well kept and it is wonderful to have the pub on site for food and drinks. The pool was small but a nice feature to escape the heat.
Definitely a resort geared towards families. It was peak summer vacation when we went and it was full of families and lots of children. We were a couple looking for a romantic escape and this did not quite fit the bill. We enjoyed ourselves but if you want quiet under the redwoods, maybe go off season not peak summer. Also disappointed with the river access. I felt it could have been better posted on their website that to access the river you have to hike down a steep 350ft zigzagging trail. Both of us having bad knees excluded us from being able to enjoy this feature to the property and the river access was what we were looking forward to most. We found more accessible beaches down the road to enjoy but it was disappointing to not be able to use the beach at the resort.

This place is located in a stunning area of the redwoods. It's reasonably priced, quiet, comfortable, and close to all sorts of gems in nature. Additionally, the staff at the front desk and the pub were friendly and helpful. This is certainly worth returning to.
It might have been nice to have a better selection of food at the pub that focuses less on fried items. Our room had a nautical theme, which was fine, but seemed a little out of place in the redwood forest.

Nice place to stay, rooms are clean, My Wife & I was in #6 lower level. I especially liked the Mariner decor inside the room. It comes with a kitchenette, fully stocked pots & pans, utensils, and the like. Gas range top/oven, nice countertop w/bar & 3 bar-stools. Atmosphere is quiet and welcoming at the same time. The brisket sandwich and taquitos at the on-site Pub were delicious, friendly bar tender and locals we shared time with, and front Office/Store Staff, as well. Looking forward to a summer return to enjoy a swim in the river and on-site pool, and maybe a chance at the on-site Karaoke night.
You need to come prepared with groceries to take full use of the kitchenette, and make sure to clean up (Resort provided pots/pans, utensils) afterwards or you'll get charged a fee. It would be great if the Office/Store sold eggs, bacon, sausage, for those of us not prepared upon arrival. Otherwise, you can buy packaged cereals, coffee, and tea at the Office/Store.

The location was amazing, right in the middle of the forest. It's next to a road but the road is barely used at night so there's hardly any noise. The staff were all lovely, and the pool and sports facilities kept our family entertained. The bar does great food and beer and the little shop has lots of camping accessories and snacks if you need them.
The only down side to our room in the lodge was that there were 6 of us staying but only one bathroom. There were other facilities on site if needed though.

Nice old-fashioned cabin in midst of campground area. Less than an hour from Humboldt redwoods. On-site pub had decent food and good beer.
Setting is not very private; fortunately, resort was not very full. Also, price we paid was reasonable, but only because of heavy discounting --- full price would have been a bad deal for what you get. Pub is short on comfortable indoor seating.

My family and I really liked lodging at Redwoods River Resort. The room was great, the campgrounds were nice and clean and there was a lot to do for the kids. It was hot when we arrived so I loved that it had a pool. My kids loved the little parks and although we didn’t have enough time to experience everything, I’m sure we would have enough to do for a weekend!
The property was nice and the room was cute. I don’t really have any complaints but I just wish it had AC I could use at night lol we slept with the sliding door open (screen closed) because it was pretty warm out. The resort was very accommodating though as there were two fans in our room which helped out a lot!

The scenery is amazing and the lodge accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. Feels like home. The staff are great and very friendly. Lots to do for kids, playground is awesome.
Not the property but we were there in off season and the only people there. Lots of things had been wrapped up for the winter season (for example, the firepits). The walk to the river was closed for maintenance. Luckily we only had one night so we didn't miss out too much. This place would be amazing in the summer!

All the amenities! Everything you need, or forgot, they have. Once there you don't have to pay for video games, pool table, shuffle board, foosball, ping pong, movies, and more! The pool was a great option as the river is still a bit cold. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved Bigfoot too! We have to go back for photos with him! We are really looking forward to a return visit. The room was beautiful, beds comfy, and we even had a choice in a BBQ, gas or briquettes!
They are upgrading and there is a little construction going on. But the noise was minimal and didn't interfere with anything we wanted to do. It's mainly in a small area. It's just going to be nice once the orange "fencing" is gone.

We had a room in the Lodge with big windows and a lovely view. It felt totally private. Very nice room with kitchen. Comfortable bed. Amazing river walk (too steep for some people).
Our upstairs neighbors were stomping around for hours. That was the only bad part. As we were checking out, the staff person said we could have come to the office to complain, and they would have taken care of it. We didn't think of that until leaving.
