Beautiful place with the most friendly and helpful staff. The bungalows are spacious, comfy and we'll serviced. Pool is peaceful and deep! The food was also good, breakfast two nights and one evening meal which was delicious.

The only minor downside was works to a bridge nearby meant a longer detour for tuk tuks and taxis, but the hotel could still arrange good rates for transport into the town and believe the bridge should reopen in October 23

Beautiful tropical setting, very peaceful. Great pool! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. A tip if you're arriving by train: it's a short 700m walk to the resort from the train station, not 2.5km over the main bridge as Google maps will show. Don't go out the front exit at the station, but make your way over the tracks to the back and you'll find yourself in the street that the resort is on.

The pool its self was lovely! but it is a mineral water pool, so DO NOT wear anything with White in it, it turned bright orange with the iron in the water and it does not come out! So steer well clear of the pool with any White on your clothes or bikini. ours are now ruined, this was not only from this pool, but from other pools in thailand. let me be clear, its a lovely pool, if you have a black bikini on!! :-) the surrounding are beautiful! for the rest, the place is top notch, food, rooms, staff, massage, cleanliness!! 10 out of 10!!

Mineral swimming pool, you get orange clothes from the iron in the water! dont wear anything white!

Women owned and operated resort with kind and generous staff located in a charming tradition setting. Every question ( and there were many…) answered patiently. Transport to sights near: Historical Park, Night Market, to restaurants and far: Bang Pa-In and to Bangkok organised quickly and always with a smile. Do try to enjoy the restaurant. Their cooking is absolutely delicious!

We managed but lighting in the room could have been better.

We received a lovely welcome as we arrived and help with our bags. Help with arranging our visit with helpful map, information, help with taxis and tuk tuks. Lovely fresh breakfast and good choice. Beautiful gardens and layout of rooms. We would very much recommend this hotel.

Our traditional Thai house was lovely and we enjoyed it. However, we found the air con a bit temperamental but reception were able to help. It was very hot outside 35 degrees so at those temperatures maybe bear in mind as an older building it is not as well insulated to keep as cool.

Thai hospitality at it's best! Welcoming, friendly staff with a special mention to Aoi, who made sure everything was taken care of. She arranged tuktuks for us, laundry to be done, recommended places to see, and restaurant recommendations. The on-site massages (for an extra charge of THB400/hour) were authentic Thai and very relaxing in an air-conditioned room overlooking the pool. The free breakfast included cooked eggs and fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast, cakes and pastries, and a different Thai delicacy each day + espresso coffee (or tea), orange juice, water. There was also a lunch and dinner menu so we didn't have to venture out for other meals if we didn't want to. We had a garden view villa, which had a comfortable bed, good pressure shower  instant electric heated, and air conditioning and 2 bottles of complimentary water each day. The grounds are well manicured and such a pretty setting with a pond in the middle. The pool had plenty of loungers around to relax on and was a warm temperature and deep at one end. A perfect place to relax after visiting the Ayutthaya Historical Park.

The moment you enter Baan Thai House, you’re greeted by lush greenery and a beautifully landscaped open space. The staff are incredibly warm and accommodating, always welcoming you with smiles. They are knowledgeable and provide excellent tips on places to explore and restaurants to try, and they’re more than happy to call a tuk-tuk or a car for you. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the balcony was a perfect spot for relaxation. You can stroll around the property and take a dip in the cozy pool. Dining at their restaurant was one of the best decisions we made, especially after a long day of exploring historical sites; the sumptuous Thai food was just what we needed. Overall, I have no complaints about the hotel. Everything was perfect, and our stay was truly relaxing.

Tranquility Base A superb place to stay and explore Ayutthaya. English speaking staff are very friendly, efficient, helpful and an excellent source of local sight-seeing knowledge. Villas are well decorated and very clean (and spruced up daily). The Baan Thai villas are arranged around an ornamental pool in a very well tended garden full of Frangipani trees. The on-site restaurant serves a satisfying breakfast and dining through the day offers a selection of excellent and reasonably priced Thai and European food. The hotel has excellent arrangements with local Tuk-Tuk services to offer hotel to town transport at fixed fares and the hotel organised (fixed price) evening boat and temple tour ending at the riverside night market is recommended. On-site wifi adds the final touch for those who just can’t let go. It’s a very pretty, very quiet and very tranquil place to stay.

Good friendly staff, nice location, very nice place with good vibe, everything as expected!

Not that I did not like, but it is not a hotel room. If you like a nice place with good atmospehere (and some insect like mosquitos and lizards) it will be nice option for you. If you look on hotel standards, it might not reach your expectations. In many reviews they wrote about very good breakfast, same as above, if you compare with hotel, will not match, but the breakfast overal was fine.

Baan Thai House is a really beautiful hotel set in really lovely grounds. We booked 2 rooms which were both absolutely lovely and one of the rooms had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We really loved the pool area which was well maintained with plenty of sun beds and a beautiful setting by the river. The staff were wonderful; extremely friendly and very helpful. We booked a sunset river tour through the hotel which was excellent and were dropped off at the night market for food. They also arranged a transfer back to Bangkok too. The hotel is a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the main sights and we liked the fact it was tucked away in a lovely quiet area surrounded by well maintained gardens and a lovely lake. Would definitely stay here again!
