very nice location at downtown, cafe shops and restaurants and train station within walking distance, room is quite and nicely sized and comfortable, had natural light to the room

Our room was on the 5th floor and it was very quiet and clean. The restaurant was very good, but they turned several people away who didn’t have reservations. The wait staff were good too. The front desk staff went above and beyond their duties as they called cabs and helped us with directions. The valet people were also friendly and efficient. Housekeeping was wonderful and the room and the hotel were spotless.

There was not anything that I didn’t like. However, I felt bad for all the people that they had to turn away from brunch as they did not have reservations. It would be great if they could expand the area to accommodate more people as they were all staying at the hotel that were turned away.

Location was very central and conveniently located. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was ready even before the 4 pm check-in time, so we were very lucky! The room was spacious and tidy, with everything you need already there: vanity kit, bottles of water, a selection of beverages already in the drink fridge, and extra towels and pillows. Our Atrium room faced the courtyard, so it was very quiet and still got lots of natural light from the skylights! Ordered room service for dinner and the attendant on the phone was friendly and accomodating. Cocotte is one of my go-to restaurants in the city when I want to feel luxurious! I made use of the fitness room, which had everything I needed for my usual workout as well as plenty of space.

The shower floor tiles could get a little slippery, so be careful when you're in there. We could've used more hooks for towels and robes, etc. Counter space in the washroom is minimal, so the shelf under the sink became very useful. 2/3 of the dresser drawers was used for coffee/creamer/etc. and the safe, so there wasn't a lot of space to "unpack".

By far one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in Canada! Location was optimum, staff was incredible and so helpful, their restaurant downstairs is amazing the food was delicious (we tried breakfast but we saw the place is also packed for dinner) Gym is incredible finally a Gym that has good weights, cardio machines, all the basics and more! The room was fabulous, big and comfy, the sheets the pillows, it was a dream! I am definitely coming back soon

I had such a pleasant experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was convenient—close to shops and attractions, yet quiet enough to relax. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

Lack of window to the outside rather than the inner courtyard. Needs better water pressure for the shower.

The hotel has a great vibe with attention to detail. It is welcoming and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Great decor. The location is excellent with walking distance to the Parliament Buildings and the trendy Byward market.

Our room was very noisey 1. proximetary to the main road 2. Guests with unruley children. There was also a member of staff that appeared to be struggeling, we reported and feel it will be dealt with in a sensitive manner.

New hotel, great location, nice design, quietness, great food at the restaurant.

A few small things: due to the layout of the hotel there are no stairs leading to the 3rd level where we stayed and the 2nd elevator did not work for 5 days, the quality of wi-fi internet was very poor (regularly out of service), the service in the restaurant was very poor (so we preferred to use room service instead), we found it strange that the general light in the room could not be turned off from the bed.

The staff is friendly and the location is good with cafes and supermarkets nearby

The shower water was lukewarm not hot, we stayed on the 6th floor and I don't know if it was because of the penthouse or if it was like that throughout the hotel. But luckily the heating in the room was hot enough and we didn't ask for a room change as we only booked a two night stay!

We had quite a bitter situation, but manager did her best to solve it in the very end. Location is great, lobby is nice looking.

We had a one night stay in this hotel. We've been provided with extremely dark room on the 2nd floor without ceiling lamp and windows facing the wall. Stuff on side said that they completely booked and can't change the room for us (we asked for something at least on higher floors with a bit more of light in it) and started to convince us that they already did upgrade of our room for bigger one (which I never asked). No attempt to please the customer or at least reduce the level of disappointment a little. Once we back in the room and sat down on the bed - lamp which is mounted in the bed headband just fall off on the pillow. This was fixed after, but left another sour feeling.
