The breakfast is served on the top floor with great views of the sea and the blue mosque. It's a very varied breakfast, always with some hot food, mezze, cheeses, cakes , fruit and cereal. The staff could not have been more helpful. Walked us to a very local rooftop restaurant on the first night when we were tired and hungry. Booked us in for a last night dinner at a restaurant with a whirling dervish demonstration and even walked us 20 minutes over to it. Our balcony had a good view and the location of the hotel is brilliant for all the central sites.

The air conditioning was not working (but didn't really matter because the weather was on the cool side). The water pressure in the shower was poor.

The location was fantastic, just 6 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern yet down a quiet street with little to no noise. Beds were comfy, room was clean, staff were friendly, tea & coffee making facilities plus complementary water each day. The views from the breakfast terrace are amazing - on one side we were looking at the Blue Mosque and on the other watching a large pod of dolphins swimming about in the Bosphorus.

One very tiny thing and being very picky - the bathroom would benefit from a shelf so you could put your toiletries somewhere.

Great location - 5 mins to main old town attractions. Reception staff - Tamer and Muslin - friendly, very hospitable, courteous, they are the hotel’s biggest assets! Luggage storage - 2nd stay in this hotel, went to Cappadocia in between stays and staff kept my luggage, also kept luggage after we checked out due to late night flight and we were able to use the hotel’s terrace till drop off at airport Transportation to/from airport arranged with Tamer - on time and comfortable/clean vans with good drivers! Buffet breakfast with hot/cold items and stocked well.

Our room has a small balcony that opens to front street; leaving door open allows food smell from restaurant across the street and noise from the street so we did not use the balcony.

The room was very spacious, there was even a living room area. The view was very nice, you could see the blue mosque from the window. Also when having breakfast the view was incredible. Breakfast had many options to choose from (sweet and salty) and even they asked if we wanted an omelette or fried eggs. The staff was also friendly and they offered help with everything. There was also someone at the front desk 24/7 so if you needed anything they were always there to help. The location of the hotel is incredible, it’s close to the Blue mosque, the Hagia Sophia, many restaurants, mini markets and most importantly near public transportation. We really enjoyed staying here, 100% recommended.

I must say that during the morning you could hear the Fajr (muslim prayer) which did wake us up a few times. However, this is something common when staying near a mosque or a predominantly muslim country.

The location was excellent - just a few minutes walk from the main sights of Sultanahmet, yet tucked away on a quiet street that ensured a peaceful and quiet visit in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the view of the blue mosque and the bay from the dining area truly enhanced the experience. We learned that the floor was also open in the evenings for guests to enjoy the view, which we really loved. The hotel and our room were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and we highly recommend Eastanbul Suites hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The location is excellent - it is within a few minutes' walk of the main sights of Sultanahmet but is situated on a quiet street so the room was super quiet. We could see the Blue Mosque from our window. The room was very clean, with a large comfy bed and a useful wardrobe plus a fridge for drinks. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee. A suitcase stand would have been useful but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast room is on the 4th floor and gives incredible views out from 3 sides. The buffet choices were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On our first night, the gentleman on reception kindly walked us to a restaurant. I certainly recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely return.

Istanbul Suites is located in the prime tourist destination in Istanbul, about 3-5 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The hotel is a small four-story building, perfect for a cozy stay. The rooms are small, similar to other hotels in the neighborhood. We were very fortunate to have Serhat, from the reception team to make our stay most memorable. He was most attentive to our needs. He arranged our local trips and return trip to the airport. He recruited a safe and polite driver, Abdul Baqi, who took us around the city and took care of us as if we were family members. Thank you very much. The breakfast spread has good varieties. The breakfast is served on the fourth floor with an amazing view to the Bosphorus Strait and Blue Mosque. The room itself was sufficient for sleeping and some office work. The internet was fast, with a download speed of about 100 MBS. The shower had good pressure. The bathroom was clean and had clean towels. We were provided with water bottles every day. There are hundreds of restaurants within a few minutes of walk. The closest restaurants are less than 30 seconds away. Yet, the room is quiet, we slept well. The temperature in the room was comfortable. The bed(s), two twin beds joined together, were comfy.

Not much. To be picky, the elevator does not take you to the fourth floor, the breakfast area. There is no railing on the last few steps leading to the fourth floor.

Perfect location, about 2-3 minutes walk away of Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and still a very quite place even during day. Every road to visit Istanbul led to Hagia Sofia which was great. From the roof top it was a great view to the Blue Mosque, Marmara Sea and Bosphorus Strait. But the best part of our staying was the host, Serhat. He was extremely polite and done everything to make us feel special. During the holiday was my mothers birthday and bought her a gift, organized during a Bosphorus cruise a happy birthday moment with cake, candles and singing, everything. Basically, Serhat became her son from Turkey. Conclusion, 10+.

Not the case.

Perfect hotel for exploring Istanbul. A small friendly, clean hotel with welcoming and knowledgeable staff who spoke good English, plus other languages. Any questions, requests ( extra blanket), problems ( we caused our room safe to error) were dealt with immediately. Breakfast was plentiful with freshly cooked omelettes.. The restaurant and roof terrace gave fantastic views overlooking the sea and the Blue Mosque. Staying at the Eastanbul Suites completed our visit to an amazing city.

The absence of a banister/ safety rail on the final set of steps to the open air roof terrace. You have to be careful when using these steps.

Superb location in the historic centre. 5 minutes max to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace and blue mosque. Views of the Bosphorus from the balcony and breakfast room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was beautifully clean and the beds were comfortable and the room serviced everyday

If slightly shabby wallpaper, a small shower and close proximity to a mosque worry you then this would not be the stay for you. We however were not particularly worried by these things.
