Cozy, clean and comfortable accommodation with private parking. Julia and Tony could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and relaxing with added unexpected touches that made us feel at home. Wonderful breakfast with superb local and homemade produce (make sure you try Tony's marmalades). Just lovely and would beat a path to their door to stay again :)
Nothing was too much trouble. Our room wasn't en-suite (the other two rooms are) so we had our own private spacious bathroom across the landing. We were supplied with bathrobes and slippers for convenience. What fun!

This is the most amazing find in Lincs. From the moment you cross the threshold every detail is taken care of. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly presented, super comfy beds and bedding. Not a detail is missed. Decent size cups in the room and if you are lucky you wil find a treat of home made cake in your room too. 😀 You will be greeted by Jules and Tony….. the most delightful, engaging and genuinely nice couple that own/run the house. Breakfast is simply superb, a choice of specialist coffees, produce from quality suppliers, home made jams and marmalades and don’t miss out on the home made granola… it’s simply divine!
Having to leave!

Good breakfast options, well prepared, and served at the right-time (7:30am on this occasion). Choice of hot-chocolate drinks to accompany breakfast. Very comfortable bed, and bedroom. Suitcase rack. No traffic noise before 7am. Pleasant washroom/toilet with simple and effective controls on the shower. Tidy and clean throughout, and having a homely ambience. The owners and hosts, Tony and Julia, were very friendly and hospitable. Wifi fast enough for on-line video meeting. Assortment of books to read. Shared refrigerator for guests to use for milk or snacks. Overall I found the Old Posthouse to be a very pleasant and competently-operated B&B and I'd have no reservations about returning should the occasion arise.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Breakfast was plentiful, fresh local ingredients and homemade jams too. Excellently cooked and set you up for the day nicely. Room was spotlessly clean, refreshed each day and little treats to have in the evening was a welcome extra. Location was quiet and easy access to main road into and out of many Lincolnshire attractions, including local to Lincoln itself.
Steep stairs up to room and occasional cold shower burst as others used water in the house.

The breakfast was amazing and Julia and Tony used a wide range of locally sourced produce which were delicious. Tony was a great chef and had made some if the breakfast items himself such as the compote and marmalade. My husband had the porridge which in his words was "to die for". Tony and Julia were very hospitable and the room was very clean and and the bed comfortable. We would certainly come back again and would highly recommend this b & b.
Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations

Everything. So much thought and care went into making our stay amazing. Home made orange drizzle cake was waiting for us in our room. Reminded my husband of I of when you go to stay with your grandparents (not that the owners were old) who can’t help but make a fuss of you !
Having to take our shoes off but perfectly reasonable for the owners to ask. Just never had that before

The Old Posthouse B&B is located in the small village of Normandy by Spital. There are other charming villages nearby that are worth visiting. I was passing through and only spent one night at the Old Posthouse, but I could have easily spent more. I have traveled a lot but I can say that the Old Posthouse is one of the best places to stay that I have ever stayed. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house has a beautiful little garden where you can spend time. The Old Posthouse also has its own parking. The breakfast is excellent. I received thorough instructions well before check-in. However, the best thing about the Old Posthouse is the hosts: they are very friendly and helpful. I also got some good advice from them: Europe's largest antiques center in a former RAF base and The Crown Inn, a pub in nearby Glentham, where you can get excellent food. I would rate the Old Posthouse B&B an 11 if possible.

We stayed for two nights as we were going to the Market Rasen races, the location was good as it is only a 15 minute drive away. However, if a taxi is needed you need to book well in advance. We had a wonderful stay, the guest house was immaculate, spotless, quiet and welcoming. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, their 'attention to detail' is a credit to them; it was very much appreciated. And so was the breakfast, it was plentiful and delicious! We would definitely be returning and would highly recommend it!
Nothing!

The B&B is truly excellent. Tony and Julia go out of their way to make you welcome. The room is very comfortable. There are extra little touches like a daily portion of homemade cake in the room, As for the breakfast. Quite superb resulting in a daily over indulgence. We will return.
Nothing could have been improved.
