I’ve stayed here before and liked it so returned. Room had amazing view room 73. There was building work and there was the last time we visited, it did seem a little bit invasive this time, just because it was in the swimming pool area. Although the staff and building team were actually great (probably more about me than them) Breakfast was good too! We will be retuning in June

The location was fantastic, the room with a view and balcony was fantastic. The breakfast had plenty to choose from, area was clean and tidy. The hot tubs and pool were great. The food served was amazing, delicious.

The background music was at times repetitive, also appeared dated.

Spot on, lovely location. Views were amazing and staff were great. Only area for improvement would be a more present bar person. Would definitely return. Big thanks to Courtney.

the fact you had to pay to use the pool and spa this should be included in the price of the hotel!! Included in the facilities as it is sold as a spa hotel!!

Excellent location on the south-east side of Windermere (lake). Impressive reception and open plan lounge with amazing lake views. Good food at reasonable price. Free continental breakfast included in room price, but cooked breakfast charged (at £15 pp). Friendly staff. Spa facilities are good, though busy during our visit (early Jan 2025). Very popular with couples. Bowness is appox 4 miles north of the hotel.

Car parking is free, with some limited spaces outside the hotel (roadside). However, the main hotel car park is down a VERY steep ramp, which makes it difficult (even dangerous) to exit onto the road. Hotel charges extra for use of the pool (£10 pp per 24 hrs).

Breakfast has few options and it is same everyday You will need a car to get to the center because it is in middle of nowhere

Hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The hotel was having some work done at the time I believe, this did not affect them at all and it was business as usual. Views were incredible, great selection behind the bar and the food was fresh and tasty. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy

My only small thing I would change is the WiFi service, in the bar/restaurant area I couldn’t get WiFi strength and there was no WiFi in the rooms. Being a zero/low signal area it would’ve been a nice touch to have WiFi in the bedroom so we can plan walks and look online for things in the surrounding areas.

We loved the Windermere suite, my review would have recieved 10/10 if there was a few extra things in the room, bearing in mind it has a private hot tub! The room needs a fridge to store copious amounts of prosecco! it also needs a barrier between the outside area and the roo. next door for privacy. Sat with the neighbours watching you is a little un-romantic🫣 Breakfast had a great selection and we had the full English at around £13 each. Everything continental is self serve but I feel a nice touch would be coffee served at the table. machine coffee didn't really fit the scene.

£50 deposit to be paid on arrival after fully paying for the room and checking in on-line and providing card details, I feel this was a little extreme.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. The staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money, perfect location over looking the lake and feels very luxurious. The food was out of this world. Special mention to the manager (I think) who checked us in and bent over backwards to make sure we had the most amazing time. Another special mention to Morgan and the other gent who brought us room service. They were so friendly and helpful. I honestly can’t fault our stay. Lovely rooms, lovely food, amazing facilities, lovely staff, relaxing couples massage.

The only thing I can say is at breakfast the eggs weren’t runny.
