Great location near Canal City, with bus and train stations within walking distance. Hidden in a smaller road so no loud noises at night. There are also great restaurants and cafes nearby! The room was roomier than expected - everything was clean, no weird smells, firm and comfortable pillows. The hotel even provides free afternoon tea, but we didn't indulge as we were mostly out exploring the city. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, spoke English, and assisted us with recommendations and getting around the city when asked.

A little expensive for a fairly simple hotel - but hotels in Fukuoka seem to be expensive in general. Overall okay for value, but not the best compared to other places in Japan.

Breakfast was good but at times the foods, utensils and wet napkins were not replaced for a length of time. It might be that the dining rooms couldn't handle your guest from 3 hotels. The balconies overlooking the river was wonderful to see fish swimming, birds flying, tour boats and even saw a morning paddle board race. Twice sitting on the outside deck was a pleasure.

Laundry service or a laundry room to help your guests keep their clothes fresh. A recent purchased umbrella was stolen while we left out luggage in your care. It was such a surprise because Japan is noted for honest people. My assumption is that it was another guest. Breakfast buffet running low on food.

What we loved was that our choice to have the room with the river view was spectacular! Watching the sun setting in the evenings were so beautiful…also the busy little food carts was so interesting too! Unbeknownst to us…this was a truly excellent choice for us! Especially being our first visit to Japan!! I’m letting all my friends n family know about your fantastic hotel in Fukuoka!!

There wasn’t anything negative about your property.

Friendly staffs, easy to reach, clean & comfy room with cozy decor, an in-room terrace overlooking the river as well as surprised with a complementary traditional English afternoon tea set. Breakfast at the sister hotel just opposite within few walking steps, the breakfast restaurant was excellent with cozy atmosphere and stylish art decor. Taste & varieties were so so good that fulfilled the morning before starting a journey. Apart from Hakata, it is located in another CBD Tenji which is good for all travelling purposes as well as rapid transportation. If you are self-driving, just park the car easily at their exclusive ground. Perfect. I'll be back!

I can say none, it was over my expectations!

Great staff, nice location, very quiet and close to 7/11 which is nice! Easy to find, but is undergoing construction, so be aware of potential noises. I didn’t have an issue with the construction as it was at reasonable times and did not occur for extensive periods of time. Train station isn’t too far, and the airport is also relatively close, but you’ll have to taxi to the hotel.

The entrance is a little sketchy, but I understand that it is under construction and will look great when I return in the future.

Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping malls, many carpark options near hotel. Love the room layout design with walking wardrobe to store the winter coats and luggage to create more space in the bedroom. Rooms are so modern, cozy and clean. Last but not least, the afternoon tea was a nice surprise for our family, the best afternoon tea delight we had :). Would definitely revisit this hotel!

Nothing at all

We spent four nights at One Five Villa in Fukuoka. The hotel is centrally located, right opposite the Canal City, between Tenjin station and the old town, with great views of the river and the Nakasu yatai stalls. The room was spacious, with a seating area, large bathroom and an entrance hall where one can store luggage. The check in was easy and the Nepalese lady at the reception spoke good English and was always ready to help. The tea and sweets offered upon arrival were delicious. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel and it only takes 10-12 minutes to get to Tenzin station, the Daimaru Store or the Kushida Shrine. Also, for those with rental cars there are a lot of parking places around the hotel.

Fukuoka attracts more and more international tourists so if the rest of the staff spoke english as well it would be a plus.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good and close to shopping and night life. A 7 eleven was just across the laneway. One exceptional surprise was the afternoon tea platter that was given to us on our first night stay. Very unexpected and very delicious. Thanks.

Being Australian we drink black tea and have found that most hotels in Japan don't supply tea, which is a shame but the 7 eleven was close to purchase some. The lift was small.

had a room with a nice view of the river on the fourth floor. plenty of room to stretch out. we were there for 4 nights. good location - plenty of restaurants etc close by.

breakfasts were unimaginative and monotonous. the layout of the shower room, toilet room and basin hand wash room was a nightmare; three doors to squeeze through. Room cleaning a bit off. one day a good clean and service. other days - taking rubbish out only. Would have like to know this before we booked.

The room is huge and comfortable. Bathroom is good size too. Very pleasant stay. One of the Vietnamese English speaking staff went over and above her duty to make sure we are given proper and complete info to a question we asked her. She even left us a long letter/instruction in our room before she left for the day to make sure we got the instructions correctly. She took time to write instructions in Japanese so we can simply show the train stations so we won't get lost. We appreciated that very much.

Breakfast was really fresh and good for 2 days then it becomes redundant. The food is good but it's basically the same everyday so we couldn't stay longer because of lack of variety.
